Monaghan RFC U13 I XV Win @ Portadown RFC With 14 Players

The Monaghan RFC U13’s traveled to Portadown this morning with only 14 players on the bus, resulting in many lads having to play out of position on the day. Monaghan opened well with a converted try but sloppy play throughout the 1st half left them trailing 17 – 7 at half time. The half time talk wasn’t pretty but it seemed to work as Monaghan ran in 6 tries without reply in the second half. A great effort by a very tired bunch of players.
