After going down 0-17, Quins score 4 converted tries to win 28-17. Report now available.

On a still overcast afternoon, Quins reached a brace of 5 League
points:4 for a straight win and a 4-try bonus point, for the second week running:10 points in all.
Mind you, ominously Derry were 2 goals and 14 points up within
the first 4 minutes. A penalty kicked at 22 mins made it 17-0,
even more ominous.
It has to be said that Quins had too many wheeled scrums against
them and too many kicks to touch out on the full.
Fortunately Michael Allen scored an important try on 31mins.
In the second half,Mark Roberts at 3 mins,Rory Blake-Knox at
28 mins and Paul Rea at 39 mins,scored 3 winning tries,with no
reply from Derry.Michael Heaney last week’s man-of-the-match
converted all four.thus the final score was;

Belfast Harlequins 28(4 goals) City of Derry 17(2 goals,1 pen).
Man of the match, in my opinion,is shared this week by Alister
Heatlie and Mark Kettyle.
A bit like Eyes Wide Shut, created by Stanley Kubrick, bad start,
good finish and good music.
Well done to the coaching team of Adam Larkin,David Dougherty
and Colin Martin.
Incidentally stanley kubrick would be a good 2-jumper lineout code,
not forgetting lucky radio seven for 3 jumpers and sum of the digits
to 6,7,8,9 for 4.
Quins started with:
1 Mark McGrath 2 Robert Logan(C) 3 Paul Greenway 4Gareth Rourke
5 Calum Leckie 6 Danny Annett 7 Andy Joseph 8 Alister Heatlie
9 David Creighton 10 Mark Kettyle 11 Matthew Holmes 12 Willie
Stewart 13 Mark Roberts 14 Michael Allen 15 Michael Heaney
16 Neil Montgomery 17 Paul Olding 18 Paul Rea 19 Tim Shaw
20 Rory BlakeKnox
Interestingly two of the replacements each scored a try.
Next week we are away to City of Derry in the first round of the Senior
Cup at Branch Road.We shall need to up our game for the whole match
as against just the 2nd half.
