The new IRFU &#8220;Play Rugby&#8221; programme is aimed at boosting youth sides of local rugby clubs. Jarlath had targetted the club&#8217;s u13s and carried out coaching sessions in various non traditional schools in the L\/Derry area.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/gallery\/?album=CityOfDerryPlayRugbyDay\"> CLICK HERE FOR 21 PICTURES FROM THE DAY<\/a><br \/>\nA total of 55 boys from St Columbs and Lisneal College came along to the club where they were introduced to youth coaches and officials.<\/p>\n<p>Moss Dineen spoke to the boys about training nights and bus pick-up points throughout the city whilst Director of Rugby Bevan Lynch and senior club players put the boys through some coaching drills.<\/p>\n<p>Jarlath and CRO Darren McGuigan helped with refereeing duties as both schools played 10 a side games at the end of the session.<\/p>\n<p>All schools who take part on the &#8220;Play Rugby Programme&#8221; are given a pack that contains rugby balls, cones, bibs, and other goodies for teachers to continue with the pupils after the CRO has finished his coaching block.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ulster Branch Community Rugby Officer Jarlath Carey organised a recruitment day for City of Derry at Judge&#8217;s Road.
