{"id":86008,"date":"2015-05-05T09:40:51","date_gmt":"2015-05-05T08:40:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/?p=86008"},"modified":"2015-05-07T10:44:18","modified_gmt":"2015-05-07T09:44:18","slug":"premiership-rugby-puts-restart-rugby-centre-stage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/premiership-rugby-puts-restart-rugby-centre-stage\/","title":{"rendered":"Premiership Rugby puts Restart Rugby centre stage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Premiership Rugby puts Restart Rugby centre stage<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PREMIERSHIP RUGBY is delighted announce that Round 21 of the Aviva Premiership Rugby, next weekend <em>9\/10 May 2015,<\/em> is being dedicated to Restart Rugby the official charity of The Rugby Players&#8217; Association (RPA).<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><br \/>\nAs a mark of the strengthening partnership between Premiership Rugby and the RPA, Round 21 has been renamed the Restart Rugby Weekend, the first of its kind. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Restart Rugby is a charity that raises funds for those rugby players and their families who are in need.<\/p>\n<p>A number of initiatives are being staged to promote Restart amongst clubs, supporters and Aviva Premiership Rugby partners with many of the players in action wearing Restart T-shirts to warm-up to show support for their charity.<\/p>\n<p>The matches dedicated to Restart Rugby are:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Harlequins v Bath Rugby<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sale Sharks v Newcastle Falcons<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gloucester Rugby v London Irish<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Northampton Saints v London Welsh<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Wasps v Leicester Tigers<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Saracens v Exeter Chiefs<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Player welfare is our No 1 priority so we are delighted to be supporting the great work of Restart Rugby in this way,\u201d said Phil Winstanley, Rugby Director, Premiership Rugby.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Restart Rugby supports professional rugby players to prepare for life after rugby and so performs a vital role in the team today.
