{"id":85003,"date":"2015-04-14T09:50:12","date_gmt":"2015-04-14T08:50:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/?p=85003"},"modified":"2024-06-21T15:52:16","modified_gmt":"2024-06-21T14:52:16","slug":"ballyclare-rfc-mini-rugby-festival-april-25th-1500-players-to-attend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/ballyclare-rfc-mini-rugby-festival-april-25th-1500-players-to-attend\/","title":{"rendered":"Ballyclare RFC Mini Rugby Festival &#8211; April 25th &#8211; 1500 players to attend!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>AROUND 1,500 young rugby players will attend Ballyclare RFC Mini Rugby\u2019s popular annual festival this year.<br \/>\nOver 100 teams of boys and girls from more than 20 different rugby clubs have registered to take part in the event on Saturday, April 25th.<br \/>\nClubs from right across Northern Ireland will compete in matches at the Cloughan ground in Ballyclare alongside teams from Dublin, Limerick and Selkirk in Scotland.<br \/>\nThe players range in age from Primary 3 up to Year 8. The youngest players will start off the play on the day with the older players taking to the pitches in the afternoon.<br \/>\nEntertainment available to the players, their families and supporters in between matches includes wall climbing, hamster balls, bouncy castles, food stalls and many other attractions.<br \/>\nBallyclare RFC Mini Rugby convenor Tommy Scott said: \u201cWe are delighted to host a festival which is so hugely popular and is attended by clubs right across Ireland. As with previous years, the day will be filled with rugby and great fun.<br \/>\n\u201cWe would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has worked so hard behind the scenes to organise the event and also a big thank you to all of our sponsors who provide such valued support.
