The temperature had increased from -14 and lower on Boxing Day to +3 and then +10 in 24 hours. <\/p>\n<p>Obviuously disgusted with the mess the clean up had already begun and in the midst of it all we still had a chat about up coming games!<\/p>\n<p>Well done to the team at Shaws Bridge on Monday who had put in a production line of pushing the water from the 1st floor bar towards the stairs which was then brushed down the stairs, to be pumped out of the building.<\/p>\n<p>What a nightmare!<\/p>\n<p>So as we count the cost after the big freeze hopefully that is the worst of the weather over and we can all get back to the rugby -lets hope so!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/inst11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/inst11.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"inst1\" width=\"550\" height=\"367\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-7909\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We arrived at Shaws Bridge for Instonians Rugby club veterans game\/open day to find a clubhouse virtually swimming in water.
