Local sports personalities, media personalities, public representatives and business people have been persuaded to strut their stuff on the catwalk to support the work of Barnardos NI.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event is also being supported by Debenhams who have kindly helped out by providing clothing, make-up and accessories.  The \u2018catwalkers\u2019 will include a variety of well-known personalities as well as staff from HSBC, Debenhams and Barnardos NI \u2013 all of whom have never done a catwalk in public before.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tracey McCarron, HSBC Regional Support Manager said: \u201cWe wanted to do something that would involve our staff working together as part of a team-building exercise, and it escalated into a lifestyle event and fashion show with amateurs taking the lead.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIt\u2019s been a great experience so far and we have been overwhelmed by the level of support we have received from the various personalities who have offered to give up their time to take part.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIt\u2019s a very daunting thing to do, with around 750 people watching, but we hope it will be an enjoyable experience for those taking part and raise some much-needed funds for Barnardos NI.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event will take place at St George\u2019s Market on Wednesday 3 March at 6.30pm.
