The event was again generously sponsored by Joe Sloan of SHS Sales &#038; Marketing and WKD. The guest speakers were Rugby World Cup winner and British and Irish Lion Mark Regan MBE and comedian Ollie Spencer. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to the speakers, there was an auction which was officiated in a very professional way by Richard Livingstone. The Club is indebted to all those who bid for the various lots, whether or not they were successful. The auction lots included &#8211;<br \/>\nA framed Lions Jersey signed by winning Lions\u2019 Captain Sam Wharburton from the 2013 Series against Australia (Donated by HSBC)<br \/>\nTwo tickets for Ireland v England in Dublin including travel and accommodation<br \/>\nSigned framed montage of three times major winner Rory McIlroy<br \/>\nTwo premium level tickets for Man Utd v Man City including flights and accommodation<br \/>\nFour Corporate tickets for Northampton Saints v London Wasps in the Aviva Premiership (Donated by Kerr Tyres\/Hankook)<\/p>\n<p>On the evening, Carrickfergus RFC, which celebrates its 150th Anniversary in 2015, formally announced plans for a Gala dinner to be held at the Titanic, Belfast on Saturday 20th June 2015. Jim Neilly will MC the evening and Guest speaker will be Ireland &#038; British Lions legend, Brian O\u2019Driscoll. Guests will enjoy a drinks reception before being escorted to their table to enjoy a fine dining 3 course meal.
