\nIreland Women’s Sevens Season Kicks-off in Biarritz <\/p>\n

The Irish Rugby Football Union today announce the Sevens squad to take part in the France Women’s Sevens tournament, in Biarritz on Saturday 15th November.
\nThis tournament kicks off the competitive season for 2014\/2015 and is the first step in competitive preparation for the Olympic qualifier in July 2015.<\/p>\n

Ireland shares group A with Spain, Wales and England Chariot. The side will be captained by Shannon Houston.<\/p>\n

Speaking ahead of the tournament, head coach Jon Skurr said “This is the start of a long road that will ultimately finish with the Olympic qualifying event in July.
\nThe girls have worked hard throughout pre-season and are raring to go. Now it’s about challenging ourselves against two Women’s Sevens World Series teams (England and Spain) and a very tough Welsh side.\u201d<\/p>\n
