ULSTER STAR LUKE MARHSALL VISITS RUGBY CAMP AT DONALDSON PARK<\/p>\n

On Friday 31st October 2014 Donaghadee Mini & Youth Section hosted a rugby camp at Donaldson Park for P6, P7 & Year 8 children. This was as a result of a scheme which Donaghadee are running in association with IRFU (Ulster Branch) to grow participation in rugby at all levels from outside of clubs existing structures. The event was attended by boys and girls from local primary & secondary schools, along with boys and girls within our own club and our friends from Ards RFC.
\nAs this was the first event like this at the club for some time it proved a huge success.
\nJonny Gillespie, from Ulster Rugby was on hand to host a training session and passed on his knowledge, skills and expertise to the kids. We were also thrilled with the attendance at Donaldson Park by Ulster and Irish International centre Luke Marshall. Luke spent time talking with the kids answering their questions on all things rugby and of course signing the much sought after autograph.
\nIt was a great day and more events like this will follow for all age groups. We would take this opportunity to thank Luke Marshall and Jonny Gillespie for attending along with the coaches and of course all the kids who turned up to make this day possible and such a success.Don\u2019t forget, training is every Sunday at the club 1:30pm \u2013 2:30pm for all age groups (unless matches).

\nDonaghadee RFC Christmas Casino Night will be held on the evening of Saturday 13th December 2014 in Donaghadee Golf Club. The night will include entertainment, ballots, balloon prizes, Las Vegas style casino facilities and much, much more!
