The majority of games have been played at this stage of the competitive week although a number of games will be played on Sunday the 2nd of Oct in the Womens AIL Div 2 North and Ulster Womens League. The Halloween weekend has provided welcome R&R for many youth and schools sides.

Having attended in the morning the Civil Service v Instonians U14s youth games followed by Holywood 1s v Academy 1s we will have shots to follow and InTouch TVV vids and interviews.

Taking a look through the results is once again a feast of club and school rugby competition with K Leagues UBL, JNR Leagues x by 6, Minor Leagues x 4, youth games from U18, U16, U14 teams and schools rugby between a few names you will be familiar with!

Frankly an incredible number of teams in action in Irelands largest province, the stand out scores range from the JNR and Minor Leagues are Jl1 side Bann 3’s put 27 unanswered points on Grosvenor 2s, Lisburn 3s scored 29 points v UUC 5, Inishowen 19 v Cooke 3, Ophir 2 5 vs 60 Dromore 3, U.U.J. 8 vs 36 B.H.S Fp, Minor League East 1 is going to have an intense finale based on these two scores Ards 4 45 vs 7 Randalstown 3 & B.H.S Fp 2 3 vs 35 Malone 5. In ML south Clogher Valley 3 33 vs 14 Armagh 4, Meanwhile (this is a correction, we will be double checking all scores moving forward, our standards of reporting are at stake and we take this seriously, this was a mistake in the Hinch v Derry 2s score which is now correct as Hinch 2s comprehensively won the game, the mistake was on the part of InTouch) in the II XV league Ballynahinch 2s put 64 unanswered points on Derry 2s! In the UBL Hinch put 33 on St Mary’s 13, Malone 23 on Ul Bohemians 10 with Dungannon putting 35 points on Seapoint 6, with Armagh 20 and Greystones 7 and Queen’s University 23 Cashel 12.

Ulster Grassroots rugby combines quantity in numbers with quality coaching and committed players in an atmosphere where the dogged determination of players is legendary, these players concentrate on the moment to moment objective executing the required objective with ever increasing certainty of purpose, speed and excitement. When they score they are right back across to their half assuming positions their kicker converts and they commence the game again, its incredible to watch!

AIL Ladies Division 2 North 02/11/2014
Cooke vs City Of Derry Richard Latimer

Ulster League Womens Division 1 02/11/2014
Omagh 20 vs 5 Newry Richard Robinson
30/10/2014
Enniskillen 31 vs 5 Ballyshannon

Kukri Qualifying League 1 01/11/2014
Ballymoney 0 vs 6 Cooke
Bangor 36 vs 8 Donaghadee
C.I.Y.M.S 10 vs 29 Clogher Valley
Dromore 11 vs 6 Portadown
Instonians 30 vs 5 Ballyclare

Kukri Qualifying League 2 01/11/2014
Holywood 3 vs 46 Academy Johnny Wilson
Carrickfergus 3 vs 10 Enniskillen
Coleraine 10 vs 11 Randalstown
U.U.C 13 vs 20 Lisburn

Ulster Bank League
BALLYNAHINCH 33 ST.
