The match was stopped for around seven minutes while he was treated.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"thirdPar\">\n<p>Irish sides have developed the so\u2011called choke tackle as a means of winning turnovers. Rather than putting a tackled player on the ground for a ruck, they try to keep him on his feet and prevent the release of the ball. Technically, this creates a maul, and possession is then handed over to the defending side.
