Omagh opened up their Junior Cup campaign with a fine 32-10 win at home to long established Section One side Ballymoney in excellent conditions at Thomas Mellon Playing Fields.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a tough opening 20 minutes, but we settled down, got our scrum working and got the scores we deserved\u201d commented Omagh captain, Mark Smyth after the game.<\/p>\n
\u201c We had a few out today but credit to the lads that came in, they all went well and will be pushing for their places next week\u201d, he said, but was non-committal when pressed on who his side would like to meet in the next round. \u201cThere are no easy games the further you go in a competition. A good cup run is always very welcome, but all I can hope for is a home draw\u201d.<\/p>\n
