Larne RFC welcomed back their Scottish friends from Wigtownshire RFC in the annual pre-season match on Saturday afternoon at the Glynn.
\nIn what has been a lengthy relationship between the two clubs, the match always proves to be both a feisty and friendly affair. A pre-match function, kindly sponsored by Stephen Weatherup, allowed the \u2018old boys\u2019 to have a catch up and get ready to enjoy the rugby from the side-lines.<\/p>\n
Larne kicked off playing into a stiff breeze in the first half but did not let this phase them. Early pressure up front seen the ball turned over and Larne to launch their first counter-attack with pace and precision.
