The Inst side deservedly won the Ophir 7S U16S tournamnet on Friday night in good 7s conditions and with a team of boyz playing very well together and working their way into major try scoring opportunities. Stephen Lamb acted as official Coach \/ Team Manager leading the boyz with that inner confidence of winners and keeping that momentum going all the way through to standing in front of everyone and lifting the trophy! Portadown were dissapointed not so much by losing the game but just felt that in the final it just did’nt click, but one thing as a spectator is certain they played superbly throughout the evening and as with inst and all the teams there which included Ports, Bann, Clare, Ophir, Town, Inst, Dromore and Carrick the effort and application of the sport of rugby was the winner.<\/p>\n
