The Sport Northern Ireland 2014 Coaching Awards recognise the outstanding contribution of sports coaches and coaching projects over the last 12 months and the role they play in encouraging participation, development and excellence in Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n

There are\u00a0seven award categories for coaches<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0one award in support of coaching<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Awards for Coaches:<\/b><\/p>\n

  1. Children\u2019s Coach of the Year<\/li>\n
  2. Community Coach of the Year<\/li>\n
  3. Disability Coach of the Year<\/li>\n
  4. Female Coach of the Year<\/li>\n
  5. Young Coach of the Year<\/li>\n
  6. Talent Development Coach of the Year<\/li>\n
  7. High Performance Coach of the Year<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Award in Support of Coaching:<\/b><\/p>\n

    1. Coaching Project of the Year<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      In establishing the Coaching Awards, it is Sport Northern Ireland\u2019s intention to create a pathway which will enable the outstanding contribution of these coaches to be recognised at local, regional and national level.<\/p>\n

      The closing date for returning nomination forms is\u00a04.00pm on<\/strong>\u00a0Monday<\/b>\u00a07 July 2014<\/b>.<\/p>\n

      Additional Information<\/h3>\n

      The 2014 Coaching Awards will not take place as a formal one-off event, but will be a series of presentations, made within the traditional coaching environments of each of the award winners.
