Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Round Up Saturday 7th February 2026.<\/strong>
\nLurgan College recently played a Methodist College, Belfast \u201cSenior\u201d Select xv in a closely contested game the Lurgan College team won by 26-24.
\nKody Watson, Ben Maxwell, Tyler Devlin and Seth Martin scored the Lurgan College tries with Ben capping a fine personal performance by adding three successful conversion kicks.
\nThe Methodist College, Belfast points came through a hattrick of tries from Jonny Gillespie alongside one try from Jack Moran.
\nLeo Hutton added the extras to two of the Methodist College, Belfast tries.
\nOn Tuesday 3rd February, Pirrie Park was the venue when Methodist College, Belfast played Sullivan Upper School in a replay of their previously drawn Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield 1\/4 Final game.
\nAt the end of this well-contested game, the Sullivan Upper School Medallion team emerged as 10-3 winners.
\nOn Wednesday 4th February, Bangor Grammar School played Dalriada School in their Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Bowl 1\/4 Final game.
\nThe Bangor Grammar School team won this game by 33-5, scoring five tries in the process.
\nRyan Gowdy, Cal Banyard, Noah Lack, Rory Fulton and Bruce McLure scored the Bangor Grammar School tries with Rory Gowdy adding four successful conversion kicks.
\nThe Dalriada School team points came through an unconverted try from Matthew Nicholl.
\nGrosvenor Grammar School hosted Lurgan College in their Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Trophy 1\/4 Final game at the Cameronian Drive venue.
\nThe Grosvenor Grammar School team won this game by 48-12, scoring eight tries in the course of the game.
\nLemmy Black, Sam Ferguson, James Campbell, Ewan Roberts, Adam Osborne, Reuben Hargie, Jack Ellis and Igor Kaczmarek scored the Grosvenor Grammar School tries with Peter Ward adding four successful conversion kicks.
\nThe Lurgan College team contributed a lot to the game and got some reward for their endeavours when Kody Watson and Ben Maxwell ran in for tries, one of which was converted by Ben.
\nOn the same afternoon, Omagh Academy was to have played Strabane Academy in their Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Trophy 1\/4 Final game. However, this game ended as a \u201cwalkover\u201d win for the Omagh Academy team.
\nBallymena Academy 3rdxv hosted Campbell College, Belfast 4thxv in their postponed Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Cup 1\/4 Final game.
\nThe final score in this Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Cup 1\/4 Final game was Ballymena Academy 3rdxv 12 Campbell College, Belfast 4thxv 22.
\nMeanwhile, at Osbourne Park, Royal Belfast Academical Institution 4thxv played Royal Belfast Academical Institution 5thxv in their delayed Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 4rdxv Trophy 1\/4 Final game.
\nThe Royal Belfast Academical Institution 4thxv recorded a 54-14 win in this game.
\nOn Thursday 5th February, Omagh Academy played Bangor Grammar Schools in their Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Trophy 1\/2 Final replay game.
\nAt the end of this closely contested game, the Bangor Grammar School team emerged at 17-14 winners.
\nOn the same afternoon, Methodist College, Belfast3rdxv played Belfast Royal Academy 3rdxv in their Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Cup 3rdxv Cup 1\/2 Final game.
\nThe Methodist College, Belfast 3rdxv won this game by 50-14.
\nOn Friday 6th November, Chambers Park, home of Portadown RFC, was the venue when Portadown College played Royal School, Armagh in their Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Subsidiary Shield 1\/4 Final game.
\nThe Royal School, Armagh team won the game by 33-0.
\nAlex Stinson, Joshua Crawford, Patrick Seweryn, Charlie Reaney and Sam Gray each scored one try for the Royal School, Armagh team to which Tom Kennedy added four successful conversion kicks.
\nBoth teams, their coaches and supporters, would like to thank Portadown Rugby Club for the provision of facilities and hosting this game.
\nSaturday 7th February was a busy day with four Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Cup 1\/4 Final games, three Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Subsidiary Shield games, three Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Ulster Schools\u2019 Bowl 1\/4 Final games and three Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Trophy 1\/4 Final games all scheduled to take place.
\nIn the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Cup 1\/4 Finals, Campbell College, Belfast hosted Regent House School in a game the Campbell College, Belfast team won by 35-8.
\nThe Campbell College, Belfast team scored five tries through Russ Lovo, with a brace, Ruairi Parks, Aaron Lowey and Dylan Armstrong.
\nJack Best had a fine morning off the tee with all five successful conversion kicks.
\nThe Regent House School points came through a Jed Pountney try which was converted by Zach McMinn.
\nRainey Endowed School entertained Methodist College, Belfast in a game the Methodist College, Belfast team won by 24-13.
\nThe Rainey Endowed School team points were all scored by Adrian Martin who ran in for a try, added the extras and kicked one successful penalty goal.
\nThe Methodist College, Belfast team points came through tries from Callum Largey, Isaac Bell, Peter Molloy and Ruairi Kennedy.
\nLouis Curran added two successful conversion kicks.
\nSullivan Upper School played Ballymena Academy in a game the Ballymena Academy won by 22-10.
\nLouis McKeown scored a try for the Sullivan Upper School team to which Henry Calvert added the conversion as well as kicking one successful penalty goal.
\nThe Ballymena Academy points came through tries from Jacob Casson, Billy Wylie and James McMillan.
\nJames capped a fine personal performance with two successful conversion kicks as well as one successful penalty kick.
\nWallace High School played Royal Belfast Academical Institution in a game the Royal Belfast Academical Institution team won by 20-0.
\nReuben McIlrath, Ross Dillon and Andrew Purcell scored the Royal Belfast Academical Institution tries.
\nCharlie O\u2019Connor was successful with one conversion kick as well as one penalty kick.
\nIn the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Subsidiary Shield 1\/4 Finals, Ballyclare High School played Down High School in a game the Ballyclare High School team won by 15-8.
\nThe Ballyclare High School team scored three unconverted tries through Patrick McCleary, Austin Adair and Josh McColgan.
\nDylan McMullan scored an unconverted try for the Down High School team with Josh McCaughey adding one successful penalty kick.
\nBelfast Royal Academy hosted Royal School, Dungannon in an exciting game the Belfast Royal Academy team won eventually by 33-21.
\nJames Murray, Daniel Bell, Oscar Coiley and Zach Archer each scored a try for the Belfast Royal Academy team with Connor McVicker adding two successful conversion kicks as well as three penalty goals.
\nThe Royal School, Dungannon team contributed a lot to the power and pace of the game.
\nThey got some reward for their endeavours with tries from Armandas Kaminskas and Adam Nixon.
\nJames Gibson was successful with one conversion kick as well as three penalty goals.
\nColeraine Grammar School hosted Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn in a game the Coleraine Grammar School team won by 39-0.
\nThe Coleraine Grammar School team scored six tries in the course of the game through Luke McMillan, Oliver McClean, with two, Lewis Marshall, Cody Moffatt and Joe Coates.
\nBen Todd was successful with three of his conversion kicks as well as with one penalty kick.
\nIn the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Bowl 1\/4 Finals, Dromore High School was scheduled to have played Antrim Grammar School but the game fell victim to the very wet weather.
\nEnniskillen Royal Grammar School played Banbridge Academy and recorded a 23-7 victory.
\nJake Irwin and Adam Little scored the Enniskillen Royal Grammar School tries with the talented Sam Paton weighing in with two successful conversion kicks as well as two penalty goals.
\nLimavady Grammar School played Larne Grammar School in a game the Limavady Grammar School team won by 13=6.
\nThe Limavady Grammar School team scored two unconverted tries through Alex Martin and Matthew Rhodes with Alexander Howe kicking one successful penalty goal.
\nJonnie Kennedy was successful with two penalty kicks for the Larne Grammar School team.
\nIn the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Trophy 1\/4 Finals, Belfast High School hosted Bangor Academy in a game the Belfast High School team won by 22-7.
\nBen Gardner scored two tries for the Belfast High School team with Evan Prior running in for a third.
\nBen capped a fine personal performance with two successful penalty kicks as well as one penalty goal.
\nThe Bangor Academy team contributed a lot to the game and got some reward for their efforts when Steven Boyd touched down for a try which was converted by Sean Hynes.
\nFoyle and Londonderry College played Cambridge House Grammar School in a high scoring game the Foyle College team won by 32-27.
\nThe Foyle College team scored four tries as well as three conversions and two penalties.
\nThom O\u2019Neill, Thomas Nelis, Lewis Anderson and Cian O\u2019Leary scored the tries with Darwyn Nutt adding the extras to three tries as well as converting two of the tries.
\nThe Cambridge House Grammar School points came through tries from Henri Kyle, with a brace, and Tom Murray.
\nScott Steele had a great game \u201coff the tee\u201d with three successful conversion kicks as well as two successful penalty goals.
\nOnce all the results of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Cup, Subsidiary Shield, Schools\u2019 Bowl and Schools\u2019 Trophy 1\/4 Final games were known, the draws for the 1\/2 Finals of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Cup, Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Subsidiary Shiels, Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Bowl and Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Trophy took place.
\nThe draws were organised by Richard Clingan, Chairman of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Rugby Committee, and were made Mrs Hilary Woods, Principal, Belfast Royal Academy, Mr Graeme Spratt, a member of the Danske Bank Corporate Banking team and Richard Clingan.
\nThe results of the draws are as follows:
