Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Round Up Saturday 13th September 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Three games were played midweek in the lead up to a full range of 1stxv fixtures played on Friday 12th September Saturday 13th September.
\nOn Wednesday 10th September, an Omagh Academy \u201cSelect\u201d xv played Strabane Academy in an exciting encounter the Omagh Academy team won by 22-14.
\nThe Omagh Academy \u201cSelect\u201d xv scored four tries through Nathan McFaeland, Adam Braden, Ethan Duncan and Harry Keys.
\nEthan Duncan added the conversion to one of the Omagh Academy tries.
\nThe young Strabane Academy team worked hard throughout the course of the game.
\nThey got some reward for their endeavours when Alex Gamble and Robert Byrne ran in for tries, both of which were converted by Hayden Snodgrass.
\nMeanwhile, at Ashbourne Rugby Club, in County Meath, Royal School, Armagh played Crescent Comprehensive College, Limerick in a very closely contested game from which the Royal School, Armagh team emerged as 24-22 winners.
\nThe Royal School, Armagh team scored four tries through Sam Gray, Alex Stinson, Josh George and Ryan Hamilton.
\nTom Kennedy was successful with two conversion kicks off the tee.
\nThe Crescent Comprehensive College team scored three tries through Ryan Scanlon, Cullen Weigand and Sean Ryan.
\nAlan Cleary added two successful conversion kicks as well as one successful penalty goal.
\nBoth teams, their coaches and supporters, would like to thank Ashbourne Rugby Club for the use of facilities and hosting the game.
\nOn Friday 12th September, Down High School played Omagh Academy on an excellent surface at Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn
\nThe Down High School team won the game by 38-6, scoring six tries in the process.
\nJoe Bailie, Ethan Whyte, Josh McCaughey, with a brace, Cameron Connolly and Fergus Emmett were the Down High School try scorers.
\nJosh McCaughey added four successful conversion kicks.
\nLewis McIvor was successful with two penalty kicks for the Omagh Academy team.
\nBoth teams, their coaches and supporters, would like to thank Ivor Monaghon and the Principal of Friends\u2019 School, Mr Stephen Moore, for the use of facilities and hosting this game.
\nOn Saturday 13th September thirteen 1stxv friendly games took place.
\nAntrim Grammar School played Portadown College and, on the back of good performances of players such as Daniel Blair, Alex Moss, Calum Lavery and Rio McKee, recorded a well-deserved 29-0 victory.
\nThe Antrim Grammar School team points came through tries from Michael McKay, Adomas Blazauskas, Tom McNeilly and Jonah Woolley.
\nIsaac Lynn added three successful conversion kicks as well as one successful penalty kick.
\nBallyclare High School hosted Belfast Royal Academy in an exiting game the Belfast Royal Academy team won by 31-26.
\nRoss Ferguson, Lewis Flynn, Zach Thompson and Jude Semple scored the Ballyclare High School tries.
\nJames Woodside was successful with two conversion kicks while Jude added the extras to his try.
\nThe Belfast Royal Academy team scored four tries through Daniel Bell, Blake McCloskey, James Murray and Aaron Brolly.
\nConnor McVicker had a successful morning off the tee with four successful penalty kicks as well as one successful penalty goal.
\nBangor Grammar School entertained Royal School, Armagh in a game the Royal School, Armagh team won by 33-14.
\nThe Bangor Grammar School points came through tries from Calvin Cousins and Ryan Gowdy.
\nAdam Bickerstaff was successful with both his conversion kicks.
\nThe Royal School, Armagh team points came through ties from Ryan Hamilton, with two, Paddy Kellett, Reuben Finlay and Charlie Reaney.
\nTom Kennedy added the conversions to four of the Royal School, Armagh tries.
\nColeraine Grammar School played Cambridge House Grammar School and recorded a 50-14 victory.
\nJoshua Hawe and Myles Johnston each touched down for two tries for the Coleraine Grammar School team with Luke McMillan, Austin Henry, Joel Minford and Archie McLenaghan running in for one try apiece.
\nBen Todd was successful with five of his conversion kicks.
\nDalriada School played Grosvenor Grammar School and won the game by 17-12.
\nPaul Guy, Adam Torrens and Lorcan McGinn each scored a try for the Dalriada School team.
\nMatthew McCamphill added the extras to one of the tries.
\nThe Grosvenor Grammar School points came through Adam Osborne and Max Posnett alongside one successful conversion kick from Peter Ward.
\nEnniskillen Royal Grammar School played Methodist College, Belfast and made the Methody team work hard for their 21-10 win.
\nThe Enniskillen Royal Grammar School points came through a Josh Ovens try which was converted by Sam Paton.
\nSam was also successful with one penalty kick for the Enniskillen Royal Grammar School team.
\nRhys Hill, Cillian Hall and Callum Godfrey each scored one try for the Methodist College, Belfast team.
\nLouis Curran added three successful conversion kicks.
\nFoyle and Londonderry College played Lurgan College and won a very competitive game by 29-7.
\nCian O\u2019Leary impressed with his three try display for the Foyle College team with Tom O\u2019Neill and Peter Danowski each scoring one try.
\nDarwyn Nutt was successful with two of his conversion kicks.
\nThe Lurgan College team contributed much to the pace of the game particularly with their second half performance.
\nAlexander McMeekin was well involved before the Lurgan College team was awarded a penalty try.
\nLarne Grammar School played Banbridge Academy and won the game by 51-12.
\nThe Larne Grammar School team, with players such as Corbin Marsden and Jonnie Kennedy to the fore, scored six tries.
\nRyan McDowell ran in for four tries with Elliott Bagshaw and Will Millar each touching down for one try.
\nJonnie Kennedy had a great game off the tee with six successful conversion kicks as well as one drop goal.
\nLuke Wills and Conor Patton scored the Banbridge Academy tries to which Max Ireland added one successful conversion kick.
\nLimavady Grammar School played Belfast High School and won the game by 36 21.
\nThe Limavady Grammar School team scored six tries through Dillon Forbes, Christopher Smyth, James Rhodes, Alex Martin, Jack Howe and Alexander Howe.
\nAlexander capped a fine personal performance when he added three successful conversion kicks.
\nThe Belfast High School points came through tries from Harry Palmer, Sam Pradez and Ben Gardner.
\nBen was also successful with all three of his conversion kicks.
\nRegent House School hosted Rainey Endowed School in a game the Rainey Endowed School team won by 26-10.
\nThe impressive Jed Pountney scored the Regent House School try with Zach McMinn adding one successful conversion kick as well as one successful penalty kick.

\nWallace High School entertained Ballymena Academy in a game the Ballymena Academy team won by 18-10.
\nHarry Girvan and Alfie Wallace each touched down for an unconverted try for the Wallace High School team.
\nBen Collins scored two tries for the Ballymena Academy team with James McMillan adding one successful conversion kick alongside two successful penalty kicks.
\nCampbell College, Belfast travelled to Bray in Co Wicklow where they played St Gerard\u2019s School in a game the Campbell College, Belfast team won by 26-10.
\nDarragh Kelly touched down for two unconverted tries for the St Gerard\u2019s School team.
\nRuss Lovo ran in two ties for the Campbell College, Belfast team with Isaac Hatch and Davy Nelson each scoring one try.
\nJack Best was successful with three of his conversion kicks.
\nRoyal Belfast Academical Institution travelled to Dublin where they played Wesley College.
\nThe Wesley College, Dublin team won the game by 21-17 with the Wesley College team running in three great individual tries through Johnny Woods with two and Nathan Heatley.
\nMax Colbert added the conversions to all three Wesley College tries.
\nThe Royal Belfast Academical Institution team points came through a brace of tries from Ross Dillon, one try from Connor Davis and one conversion from Jonah Power.<\/p>\n
