Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Round Up Saturday 1st February 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was a busy week of replays of drawn and postponed games in various Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 competitions.
\nOn Monday 27th January, Portadown College 3rdxv played Ballyclare High School 3rdxv in their postponed 1\/4 Final game in the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Cup.
\nThe Portadown College team won the game by 15-7.
\nOn Tuesday 28th January, Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn hosted Belfast High School in their previously postponed Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Bowl Round of Sixteen game.
\nThe Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn team maintained their recent run of good form and recorded a comprehensive 40-0 win.
\nPlayers such as Joel Collins, Ross Glover, Scott Henderson, Ethan Salt, Joel Irwin, Ryley Murphy, and Gethin Mageean, led by their captain, Paddy Donaghey, were all to the fore when it came to scoring points for the Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn team.
\nThe Friends\u2019 School team will now travel to play Cambridge House Grammar School in the 1\/4 Final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Bowl on\/before Saturday 8th February.
\nMeanwhile at the Old Galgorm Road in Ballymena, the Ballymena Academy Medallion team played Down High School in a replay of their drawn Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield Round of Sixteen game.
\nThe Ballymena Academy team won the game by 26-12 and will now host Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn in the 1\/4 Final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield.
\nOn Wednesday 29th January, Ballymena Academy hosted Dalriada School in the replay of their drawn Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Round of Sixteen game.
\nThe Ballymena Academy team won this game by 22-0 and will now travel to play Rainey Endowed School in the 1\/4 Final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Cup on\/before Saturday 8th February.
\nOllie Collins, Charlie Hargy and Ruari Kennedy scored the Ballymena Academy tries with Reuben Allen adding two successful conversions as well as one successful penalty goal.
\nBarban Hill in Dromore was the venue, when Dromore High School hosted Royal School, Dungannon and played their recently postponed Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Bowl Round of Sixteen game.
\nThe Royal School, Dungannon team won the game by 39-14 and will now entertain Omagh Academy in the 1\/4 Final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Bowl with the Dromore High School team hosting Belfast High School in the 1\/4 Final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Trophy.
\nThe Dromore High School team scored two tries through Harry Cromie with Daniel Ennis McManus adding the extras to both tries.
\nThe Royal School, Dungannon team scored six tries in the course of the game.
\nJosh Ferguson ran in for two, with Isaac Busby, Angus Lam, James Gibson and Ben Cormac touching down for one try apiece.
\nJames capped a fine personal performance with three successful conversion kicks as well as one penalty goal.
\nOn the same afternoon, Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn hosted Foyle and Londonderry College in their previously postponed Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Plate 1\/4 Final game.
\nThe Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn 2ndxv recorded a 24-18 victory and will now travel to play Royal School, Armagh 2ndxv in the 1\/2 Final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Plate.
\nAt the same time, Ballyclare High School played Coleraine Grammar School in the first of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Plate semi-final games.
\nThe Ballyclare High School team was made to work hard by the young Coleraine Grammar School team before emerging as 29-12 winners.
\nThe last of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Cup 1\/4 Final games took place when Methodist College, Belfast 4thxv played Wallace High School 3rdxv.
\nThe Wallace High School 3rdxv won the game by 21-0.
\nIn the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Trophy 1\/4 Final, Royal School, Armagh 3rdxv played Belfast Royal Academy 3rdxv in a game the Belfast Royal Academy team won by 20-7.
\nOn Thursday 30th January, Banbridge Academy 3rdxv played Ballymena Academy 3rdxv in their Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Trophy 1\/4 Final game.
\nThe Ballymena Academy 3rdxv won this game by 40-0.
\nOn the Inishowen Peninsula in Co Donegal, Carndonagh Community College played Royal Belfast Academical Institution 5thxv in their Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Trophy 1\/4 Final game.
\nThe Carndonagh Community College team won this game by 20-5.
\nOn the same afternoon, Royal Belfast Academical Institution 3rdxv played Enniskillen Royal Grammar School 3rdxv in their 1\/4 Final game of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Trophy.
\nThis game finished with the Royal Belfast Academical Institution 3rdxv team recording a 40-0 victory.
\nOnce the results of all the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Cup and Trophy 1\/4 Final games were known, the draws for the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Cup and Trophy 1\/2 Final games were released.

\nIn the 1\/4 Finals of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield, Ballymena Academy played Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn in a game the Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn team won by 12-8.
\nMethodist College, Belfast played Campbell College, Belfast with the Campbell College, Belfast team recording a 15-12 victory.
\nSullivan Upper School played Larne Grammar School and won the game by 20-7.
\nWallace High School played Royal Belfast Academical Institution in a game the Royal Belfast Academical Institution team won by 48-8.
\nIn the 1\/4 Finals of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Plate, Belfast Royal Academy played Royal School, Dungannon.
\nThe final score in this game was Belfast Royal Academy 24 Royal School, Dungannon 25
\nDown High School played Ballyclare High School and won the game by 27-15.
\nOmagh Academy played Dalriada School and won the game by 15-0.
\nRainey Endowed School played Antrim Grammar School and won the closely contested game by 27-23.
\nIn the 1\/2 Finals of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Bowl, Bangor Grammar School played Enniskillen Royal Grammar School in a game the Enniskillen Royal Grammar School team won by 14-10.
\nRoyal School, Armagh played Regent House School in a game which finished as a 10-10 draw.
\nThis game will be replayed on Tuesday 4th February at Ards RFC at 2-00pm.
\nIn the 1\/2 Finals of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Trophy, Banbridge Academy played Bangor Academy and won the game by 36-7.
\nLurgan College played Belfast High School in a game the Belfast High School team won by 38-0.
\nThe final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Trophy, featuring Banbridge Academy and Belfast High School, will take place at Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn on Saturday 22nd February at 10-30am.
\nOnce the results of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield and Plate games came through, the draws for the 1\/2 Finals of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield and Plate were released.

\nThe winners of the Royal Belfast Academical Institution v Campbell College, Belfast game will have use of the Ulster Rugby home changing rooms at the final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield on Tuesday 4th March.

\nAs well as the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion competitions taking place, the 1\/2 Finals of a number of Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup, Plate and Trophy competitions took place.
\nIn the 1\/2 Final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup, Ballymena Academy hosted Campbell College, Belfast in a game the Campbell College, Belfast team won by 30-18.
\nWallace High School played Royal Belfast Academical Institution in a game that finished as a 19-19 draw.
\nIn the second 1\/2 Final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Plate, the game featuring Royal School, Armagh 2ndxv and Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn 2ndxv was rescheduled to take place on Tuesday 4th February at 2-00pm.
\nIn the 1\/2 Final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Trophy, Portadown College played Royal School, Dungannon and won the game by 31-12.
\nOmagh Academy played Dromore High School in a game the Dromore High School team won by 10-7.
\nThe final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Trophy will take place at Banbridge RFC on Wednesday 19th February at 2-30pm.
\nIn the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Trophy 1\/4 Final qualifier game, Carrickfergus Grammar School hosted Foyle and Londonderry College at the North Road venue.
\nThe Foyle and Londonderry College team won the game by 42-19 and, with that win, a game away to Bangor Academy in the 1\/4 Final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Trophy.
\nThe Carrickfergus Grammar School team scored three tries through Adam Magill, Max Matuszewski and Mark O\u2019Gara.
\nAlex McAllister was successful with two of his conversion kicks.
\nThe Foyle College team scored six tries in the course of the game.
\nKaine McClelland touched down for two with Cian O\u2019Leary, Thomas Williamson, Shay Grimes, and Darwyn Nutt running in for one try apiece.
