Alex Shaw had a great game off the tee<br \/>\nwhen he added seven successful conversions.<br \/>\nThe Enniskillen Royal Grammar School team points came through one try each from<br \/>\nOliver Hamill Friends\u2019 School,<br \/>\nLisburn team won by 10-0.<br \/>\nThis result ensures the Friends\u2019 School team will host Ballymena Academy in the<br \/>\nDanske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield Round of Sixteen on\/before Saturday<br \/>\n21 st January.<br \/>\nThe Antrim Grammar School team will host Belfast High School in the 1\/4 Finals of the<br \/>\nDanske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Bowl.<br \/>\nIn the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield 3 rd Round replay game Regent<br \/>\nHouse School defeated Down High School by 29-5.<br \/>\nThe Regent House School team will now travel to play Royal School, Dungannon in the<br \/>\nDanske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield Round of Sixteen on\/before Saturday<br \/>\n21 st January.<br \/>\nJanuary.<br \/>\nOn Wednesday 11 th January Enniskillen Royal Grammar School 2ndxv hosted Campbell<br \/>\nCollege, Belfast 2ndxv in the 3rd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup.<br \/>\nThe Campbell College, Belfast 2ndxv team won the game by 19-9.<br \/>\nThe Campbell College, Belfast 2ndxv will now play at home to Ballymena Academy in the<br \/>\nDanske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup 1\/4 Final on\/before Saturday 21st January.<br \/>\nEnniskillen Royal Grammar School 2ndxv will now travel to play Lurgan College 2ndxv in<br \/>\nin the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Plate 1\/4 Final on\/before Saturday 21 st<br \/>\nJanuary.<br \/>\nOn the same afternoon Down High Schools 3rdxv played Regent House 3rdxv in the 2nd<br \/>\nRound of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Plate.<br \/>\nThe Regent House School 3rdxv team won the game by 22-12 and will now progress to<br \/>\nthe 1\/4 Final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Plate.<br \/>\nOn Friday 13 th January Sullivan Upper School hosted Ballymena Academy in a well-<br \/>\ncontested game the Sullivan Upper School team won by 14-5.<\/p>\n<p>The Sullivan Upper School team scored two converted tries with Callum Howe and<br \/>\nNathan Noble running in for the tries and Harry McKeown adding the conversions.<br \/>\nTom McMaster touched down for an unconverted try for the Ballymena Academy team.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, Wallace High School made the journey to Roscrea, Co Tipperary where they<br \/>\nplayed their annual fixture against the local Cistercian College team.<br \/>\nThe Wallace High School team had to put in a very positive performance before<br \/>\nemerging as 16-12 winners.<br \/>\nRichard Whelan and Max Flynn scored the Cistercian College, Roscrea tries with Max<br \/>\nadding one conversion.<br \/>\nRio McDonagh scored the Wallace High School try with Charlie Beattie converting the<br \/>\ntry as well as kicking three penalty goals.<br \/>\nOn Saturday 14 th January two Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Plate 1\/4 Final games<br \/>\ntook place.<br \/>\nBanbridge Academy 2ndxv hosted Coleraine Grammar School 2ndxv in a high scoring<br \/>\ngame the Coleraine Grammar School team won by 33-22.<br \/>\nBelfast Royal Academy 2ndxv played Omagh Academy 2ndxv and won the game by 41-<br \/>\n12.<br \/>\nIn the replay of their Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Trophy 1st Round game<br \/>\nCambridge House Grammar School lost to Bangor Academy by 13-12.<br \/>\nIn the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Plate 2 nd Round games two games were<br \/>\nscheduled for Saturday 14th January.<br \/>\nDromore High School 3rdxv overcame the challenge of Limavady Grammar School<br \/>\n3rdxv.<br \/>\nThe Royal Belfast Academical Institution 5thxv v Royal School, Armagh 4thxv game did<br \/>\nnot take place.<br \/>\nAs well as the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 competition games played on Saturday 14 th<br \/>\nJanuary a number of 1stxv friendly games took place.<br \/>\nBallyclare High School played Enniskillen Royal Grammar School in a game the Ballyclare<br \/>\nHigh School team won by 31-19.<br \/>\nThe Ballyclare High School team scored five tries in the course of the game. Tom<br \/>\nMcAllister touched down twice with Austin Martin, Jacob Scarlett and Joel Flynn each<br \/>\nrunning in for one try. Joel capped a fine personal performance with three successful<br \/>\nconversions.<\/p>\n<p>The Enniskillen Royal Grammar School team scored their points through tries from<br \/>\nTadhg Hambly, Harry Kerr and Tim Harte. Tadhg was also successful with two<br \/>\nconversions.<br \/>\nBelfast Royal Academy played Omagh Academy in a game the Omagh Academy team<br \/>\nwon by 24-15.<br \/>\nThe Belfast Royal Academy team opened strongly and had built up a 10-0 lead, with<br \/>\nunconverted tries Peter Richardson and Henry George, after just ten minutes.<br \/>\nThe Omagh Academy team responded strongly and, following tries from Sam Beattie<br \/>\nand Conrad Hales, both of which were converted by Andrew Johnston, they took a 14-<br \/>\n10 lead into the break.<br \/>\nAfter the interval the Omagh Academy team increased their lead to 21-10 when Ben<br \/>\nHenry left multiple Belfast Royal Academy defenders trailing in his wake before<br \/>\ntouching down under the posts. Andrew Johnston was delighted to add the conversion.<br \/>\nBelfast Royal Academy responded with an unconverted try from Ben Dewhurst to<br \/>\nreduce the arrears to 21-15.<br \/>\nClose to the no-side whistle the Omagh Academy team secured their well-deserved 24-<br \/>\n15 victory when Andrew Johnston converted a penalty kick opportunity.<br \/>\nCampbell College, Belfast hosted Presentation Bother\u2019s College, Bray and, despite going<br \/>\nbehind to the Presentation Brothers team early on, won an exciting game on Fox\u2019s Field<br \/>\nby 28-27.<br \/>\nStar performer for the Campbell College team was fullback, Lucas Kenny, who ran<br \/>\nstrongly in attack for his two tries. Cameron Faith and Jed Dornan each scored one try<br \/>\nfor the Campbell College team. Matt Rae and Harry Dyer each added the extras to two<br \/>\nof the Campbell College, Belfast tries.<br \/>\nThe Presentation Brother\u2019s College. Bray team scored three tries through Billy<br \/>\nCorrigan, James McDonald and Lorcan Kavanagh. Jack Murphy displayed great kicking<br \/>\ntechnique off the tee and out of hand. He was 100% successful with his three<br \/>\nconversions, one penalty and one dropped goal.<br \/>\nCarrickfergus Grammar School played a Campbell College, Belfast \u201cSenior Select\u201d team<br \/>\nin a game which all the players involved found to be a very useful run out.<br \/>\nDown High School played Belfast High School and won the game by 33-10.<br \/>\nRyan Connolly scored two tries for the Down High School team with Connor Harwood,<br \/>\nJonny Russell and Fionn Carey each scoring one try. Rhodri Phillips was successful with<br \/>\nfour of his conversions.<\/p>\n<p>Adam Bennett and Finnm McAllister each scored an unconverted try for the Belfast<br \/>\nHigh School team.<br \/>\nDromore High School travelled to Wesley College in Dublin where they got together<br \/>\nwith their hosts for joint coaching sessions as well as a training game. Highlight of the<br \/>\ncoaching sessions was the work done with former Ireland prop, Mike Ross, looking at<br \/>\nscrum technique. All the players, as well as their coaches involved found the whole<br \/>\nconcept of the joint coaching sessions and training game to be very useful.<br \/>\nFriends\u2019 School, Lisburn hosted Dalriada School and won the game by 26-0.<br \/>\nThe Friends\u2019 School team scored four tries through Joel Nethercott, Angus Crawford,<br \/>\nSam Netherton and Alex McKinley. Paddy Moore was successful with three of his<br \/>\nconversion kicks.<br \/>\nLarne Grammar School played Lurgan College and comfortably won the game by 41-0.<br \/>\nCian Ferguson, with a brace, Sam Jackson, Thomas Patton, Jonny Dallas, Adam Wallace<br \/>\nand Charlie Wilson were the Larne Grammar School try scorers. Luke Farquhar added<br \/>\nthe extras to three of the Larne Grammar School tries.<br \/>\nRainey Endowed School played Grosvenor Grammar School in a game the Rainey<br \/>\nEndowed School team won by 42-5.<br \/>\nBilly Allen scored two tries for the Rainey team with Rossa Bell, Owen O\u2019Kane and Bryn<br \/>\nKerr each touching down for one try. Owen O\u2019Kane added the extras to five of the<br \/>\nRainey Endowed School tries.<br \/>\nThe Grosvenor Grammar School team displayed great commitment throughout the<br \/>\ngame. They got some reward for their endeavours when Adam Lowey touched down for<br \/>\nan unconverted try.<br \/>\nRegent House School played Portadown College and recorded a 31-17 victory.<br \/>\nEthan Spratt, Matt McBride, Zach Campbell and Jude McKenna, with two, were the<br \/>\nRegent House try scorers. Zach Campbell capped a fine personal performance with<br \/>\nthree successful conversions.<br \/>\nThe Portadown College team scored three tries with Josh Herron touching down twice<br \/>\nand Bobby Newell running in for a third. John Speers was successful with one of his<br \/>\nconversion kicks.<br \/>\nRoyal School, Dungannon played Banbridge Academy in a game the Banbridge Academy<br \/>\nteam won by 24-17.<br \/>\nThe Royal School, Dungannon team scored two tries during the game through Cameron<br \/>\nCummings and Reuben Gibson. Jacob Clake added two conversions as well as one penalty<br \/>\ngoal.<\/p>\n<p>The Banbridge Academy team scored four tries through Thomas Williamson, Darragh<br \/>\nKnox and Jonny McCrum, who touched down twice.
