7th May 2014 \u2013 CHECK\u2122, a new innovative device for smarter training, will be showcased at this years BodyPower Expo, taking place from 16th<\/sup> \u2013 18th<\/sup> May at The NEC Birmingham.\u00a0 The device, aimed at athletes, coaches and medical professionals, helps users to optimise training, avoid over-training and reduce injuries, by assessing their neuromuscular training readiness and recovery. The CHECK\u2122 device is particularly suited to those athletes who participate in sports that require strength, skill and coordination such as bodybuilding.<\/p>\n

Ville Simola, VP Partnerships at CHECK\u2122 comments: \u201cOver-training can be a big issue for athletes when working hard to achieve their goals.\u00a0 Measuring your muscular readiness can avoid long setbacks from injuries caused by putting too much strain on your body. The CHECK\u2122 offers an effective way to monitor this using our device and mobile app.\u201d<\/p>\n

With CHECK\u2122, users get a real time assessment of their physical performance, determining the level of strain the muscles have gone through and their current state. It works by using electrodes to send a low-voltage current through the body to stimulate the nerve-muscle connection. The muscles intensity and delay of the reaction is measured and the Training Readiness of the athletes is assessed in real-time.\u00a0 The data is then available via the CHECK\u2122 app and online services.<\/p>\n
