On Monday 28th November Larne Grammar School provided the opposition for the Ulster U18 Clubs\u2019 team at the Rainey Old Boys\u2019 Rugby Football Club in Magherafelt.
\nThis game proved to be a real test of character for the Larne Grammar School team and the players were delighted to come away with a 29-15 victory.
\nEthan Duncan had a night to remember with three tries, three conversions and one penalty for the Larne Grammar School team. Jack Sweeney scored a fourth try and Charlie Wilson impressed with his performance for the Larne Grammar School team.
\nThe Ulster U18 Clubs\u2019 team scored their points through tries from Daniel Neely and Cormac Creagh with James Orr adding one successful conversion as well as one successful penalty.

\nSome Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield, 2ndxv and 3rdxv Cup games were played on Tuesday 29th, Wednesday 30th November, Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd December in the lead up to a good fixture list of three Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield Round 2 games and one Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup Round 2 game as well as a number of 1stxv friendly games on Saturday 3rd December.
\nOn Tuesday 29th November there were three 2nd Round Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield games played.
\nEnniskillen Royal Grammar School played Omagh Academy in a very close encounter which the Omagh Academy team won by 3-0.
\nFoyle and Londonderry College hosted Banbridge Academy and won the game by 13-0.
\nLarne Grammar School played Strabane Academy and won the game by 27-10.
\nOn Wednesday 30th November a number of 2nd Round Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup games took place.
\nBanbridge Academy played Royal School, Dungannon and won the game by 22-12.
\nDalriada School hosted Regent House School in a game the Regent House School team won by 18-7.
\nLurgan College played Bangor Grammar School in a game the Lurgan College team won by 10-5.
\nOmagh Academy played Down High School and won the game by 25-15.
\nMeanwhile, Campbell College, Belfast 4thxv hosted Methodist College, Belfast 4thxv in the replay of their drawn 1st Round Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Cup game.
\nThe Campbell College, Belfast 4thxv won the game by 36-5.
\nOn the same afternoon Banbridge Academy played Royal School, Dungannon in a 1stxv friendly 31-7
\nOn the back of good performances from players such as Ryan Matthews, Tom King and Noah Myles, the Banbridge Academy team scored five tries. Noah Myles touched down for two, and was involved in the lead up to a penalty try, Noah Bell added a fourth with Ryan Matthews touching down for a fifth try. Ryan was also successful with two of his conversion kicks.
\nJacob Clarke ran in for a converted try for the Royal School, Dungannon team.
\nDromore High School hosted Cambridge House Grammar School at the Barban Hill venue and won the game by 33-7.
\nBoth teams used the opportunity to use extended squads and all the players in attendance got plenty of game time.
\nThe Dromore High School points came through tries from Kyle Sterling, Jonny Thompson, who ran in for a brace, Jack Allen and Alexandre Ferreira. Ethan Mount added the extras to two of the tries as did Josh Quigley.
\nThe Cambridge House Grammar School points came through a converted try from Dan Chestnutt.
\nOn Thursday 1st December the Ballyclare Secondary School Medallion team was scheduled to have played Lurgan College in the 2nd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield.
\nDue to a series of unfortunate circumstances which impacted upon the Ballyclare Secondary School team it will be the Lurgan College Medallion team going through to the 3rd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield.
\nOn Friday 2nd December Rainey Endowed School hosted Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn in the 2nd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup. This game was played at Rainey Old Boys\u2019 RFC.
\nFollowing an exciting game, which turned out to be a very close encounter, the Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn team emerged as 22-21 winners.
\nBoth teams, their coaches and supporters, would like to thank Rainey Old Boys\u2019 RFC for the provision of excellent facilities and hosting the game.
\nLater that evening Bangor Academy hosted Antrim Grammar School in the 2nd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield at Uprichard Park, home of Bangor Rugby Football Club.
\nFollowing a very exciting game the final scoreboard read Bangor Academy 12 Antrim Grammar School 32.
\nBoth teams, and their coaches, would like to thank Bangor RFC for the provision of excellent facilities and hosting the game.
\nMeanwhile, at CIYMS RFC Sullivan Upper School played Regent House School in a 1stxv friendly game.
\nThe Sullivan Upper School team won the game by 12-0 with two tries from Harry Tindle, one of which was converted by Harry McKeown.

\nOn Saturday 3rd December the three remaining Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield 2nd Round games took place.
\nBelfast High School played Cambridge House Grammar School in the 2nd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield and won the closely contested game by 15-10.
\nDalriada School played Limavady Grammar School and it was the Limavady Grammar School team that won the game by 22-7.
\nGrosvenor Grammar School and Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn played their Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2nd Round Medallion Shield game and it was the Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn team that won the game by 36-5.
\nOnce all the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield Round 2 results were known, the draws for the 3rd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield and the 1st Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Trophy were released.

In the 2nd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup Portadown College hosted Enniskillen Royal Grammar School in a game which saw the Enniskillen Royal Grammar School emerge as 17-0 winners.
\nAt 1stxv level eight friendly games took place on Saturday 3rd December.
\nColeraine Grammar School hosted Belfast Royal Academy and won the game by 26-0.
\nThe Coleraine GS points came through tries from Matthew Curry, Jacob Lennox, Conor Draycott and Max McCrabbe. Jordan McAuley was successful with three of his conversion kicks.
\nDown High School played Bangor Grammar School in an exciting game which the Down High School team won by 22-15.
\nRyan Connolly, with two, Jonathan Russell and Fionn Carey were the Down High School try scorers. Rhodri Phillips was successful with one of his conversion kicks.
\nThe Bangor Grammar School team scored three unconverted tries through Jack Mason, Shay Ritchie and Noah Courtney-Gardiner.
\nLurgan College played a Ballyclare High School xv in a game the Ballyclare team won by 38-0.
\nFor Lurgan College players such as Matthew Conn, Daniel Parker, Andrew Richardson and Calum Marsden impressed with their performances.
\nDavid Gillespie, Tom McAllister, Neil McCrea, Ewan Jones, Aaron Beattie and Jacob Scarlett scored the Ballyclare High School tries to which Joel Flynn added two conversions as did Jacob Scarlett.
\nMethodist College, Belfast played Campbell College, Belfast in a very closely contested game the Methodist College team won by 31-28.
\nDavid Armstrong, Josh Stevens, Ben McFarlane and Ryan Kidd scored the Methodist College tries. Ben McFarlane added two conversions as did David Armstrong who was successful also with one penalty kick.
\nThe Campbell College, Belfast team points came through tries from Lucas Kenny, Jake Daley, Matthew Booth and Chris Booth. Matthew Rea added the conversions to all four of the Campbell College tries.
\nOmagh Academy played Foyle and Londonderry College and won the game by 22-17.
\nThe Omagh Academy team scored three tries through one penalty try, one unconverted try from Harvey King and one try from Conrad Hale. Andrew Johnston added one successful conversion kick as well as one penalty goal.
\nThe Foyle College points came through two unconverted tries from James McKillopp, and one converted try from Adam Killeen.
\nRoyal Belfast Academical Institution played Enniskillen Royal Grammar School at Osborne Park and finished the game as 45-19 winners.
\nOn the back of an outstanding performance from Bryn Ward, the Belfast Inst team scored seven tries. Bryn scored one of the tries with Jack Parkinson, Alex Place, Euan Patterson, Josh Gibson, Josh Eagleson and Flynn Morrow also running in for one try each. Josh Eagleson had also a fine morning off the tee with five successful conversions.
\nThe Enniskillen Royal Grammar School team played with great commitment throughout the game. They got some reward for their endeavours with tries from Ben McLaren, Reece Holmes and Jake Woods. Tadhg Hambley was successful with two of his conversion kicks.
\nRoyal School, Armagh entertained the Rainey Endowed School team and won the game by 31-5.
\nThomas Dougan, Finn Fehnert, Matthew Whittle, Josh Lowey and the impressive Sam Montgomery scored the Royal School, Armagh tries. Josh Watterson added the extras to three of the tries.
\nRossa Bell impressed with his performance for the Rainey Endowed School team and was rewarded for his endeavours with an unconverted try.
\nWallace High School entertained Dromore High School and won the game by 33-14.
\nThe Wallace High School team points came through tries from Jack Shannon, Michael McCavery, Noah McCluskey, Quinn Armstrong and Ethan Patterson. Charlie Beattie was successful with five of his conversion kicks.
