Social<\/strong><\/p>\nThe next FARLS gathering will take place in the clubrooms at Hamilton Park on Friday 26th November from 12.30pm. Please ensure you book your place and choice of menu with Douglas Harley.<\/p>\n
A Poker Night will be held on Saturday 27th November from 8pm. Please contact Stevie Nutt for more details.<\/p>\n
The club will be hosting a Table Quiz on Friday 10th December from 8pm. A maximum of 6 persons per team please, with prizes for the winners.<\/p>\n
The Teams Christmas Dinner Night will be held on Saturday 11th December from 8pm, so make sure you have your placed booked through your team captains for a great night\u2019s festive craic.<\/p>\n
Sunday 12th December sees the Mini sections Christmas party taking place from 2pm. More details on this event will be known soon.<\/p>\n
Youth<\/strong><\/p>\nThe U15s have now merged with the U17s and will continue to train as normal on Tuesday nights from 7 \u2013 8.30pm.<\/p>\n
This decision was taken to help both teams with their rugby development and ensure regular rugby for those who want to continue playing for Ards.<\/p>\n
Mini<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Minis played in a Blitz at Belmont Park on Sunday and came away feeling very chuffed with their days endeavors.<\/p>\n
This was a great opportunity for the young \u2018Ardsmen and girls\u2019 to play short games against varied opposition as they continue to develop their rugby skills.<\/p>\n
Our thanks are extended to CIYMS for hosting the event and we look forward to more exchanges throughout the season.<\/p>\n
Tag Rugby<\/strong><\/p>\nBookings for the next set of schools Tag Rugby sessions, are now being taken. Already, St Mary\u2019s PS Comber, Donaghadee PS, St Finians PS Newtownards and St Patrick\u2019s PS Ballygalget, are amongst this seasons schools who have already had Tag Rugby delivered to their schools. Tag Rugby (none contact) is a fun sport for both boys and girls and can be played both indoors and out. Anyone who would like this great activity delivered to their school should contact Emma Hingston, the Sports Development Officer at Ards Borough Council on 02891 824000 or e-mail emma.hingston@ards-council.gov.uk to book their place.
