On Monday 17th January Larne Grammar School travelled to the Meadowbank Sports Arena in Magherafelt where they played the Ulster Clubs\u2019 U18 team.
\nThe game was played over 3×20 minute sessions and finished as a 24-18 victory for the Ulster Clubs\u2019 U18 team.
\nThe Ulster Clubs\u2019 team scored four tries through JF Burns and Ben Neely, both from Coleraine Rugby Club, and Calum Madden and Maiteu McCardle, both from Monaghan Rugby Club. JF Burns was also successful with two of his conversion kicks for the Ulster Clubs\u2019 U18 team.
\nThe Larne Grammar School team scored three tries through Elliott Bareham. Charlie Patterson and Tom Meban. Robin Wynn was successful with two of his conversion kicks.
\nOn Tuesday 18th two Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Trophy 1\/4 Final games took place.
\nStrabane Academy played Bangor Academy and won the closely contested eight-try game by 29-22.
\nOur Lady and St Patrick\u2019s College, Knock hosted Omagh Academy at Cooke \/Instonian\u2019s Rugby Club.
\nThis game was a very close encounter which finished as a 5-5 draw. This game will be replayed at Omagh on Tuesday 25th January.
\nBoth teams, and their coaches, would like to thank Cooke\/Instonian\u2019s Rugby Clubs for the use of facilities and hosting the game.
\nOn Wednesday 19th Campbell College, Belfast 2ndxv entertained Belfast Royal Academy 2ndxv in their Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup 1\/4 Final game.
\nThe Campbell College, Belfast team recorded a comfortable 59-14 win by the end of this game.
\nIn the 1\/4 Final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Trophy Limavady Grammar School 2ndxv played Royal School, Dungannon 2ndxv and won the very closely contested and competitive game by 6-5.
\nRainey Endowed School hosted Bangor Grammar School in a 1stxv friendly game on Wednesday 19th January.
\nBoth teams were keen to get back to winning ways but it was the Bangor Grammar School team that came away with a 42-15 victory.
\nThe young Rainey Endowed School team scored three unconverted tries through Harry Currie, Ben Brown and Gavin Paul.
\nThe Bangor Grammar School team scored seven tries in the course of the game. Josh Walker scored twice, Daniel Ontswedder and Jack Mason touched down for one try apiece, and Ben Gibson put in a \u201cMan of the Match\u201d performance with a hattrick of tries and five successful conversions.
\nThe remaining Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup, Plate and Trophy 1\/4 Final games were played on Saturday 22nd January.
\nIn the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup 1\/4 Final games Enniskillen Royal Grammar School played Down High School and recorded a 34-12 victory.
\nMethodist College, Belfast played Wallace High School and won the game by 47-8.
\nRoyal Belfast Academical Institution played Ballymena Academy and won the game by 27-15.
\nIn the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Plate 1\/4 Finals Ballyclare High School played Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn and won the game by 39-5.
\nAs a result of the outcome of the scheduled Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Plate 1\/4 Final game, featuring Omagh Academy and Dalriada School, it is the Omagh Academy team that will go through to the semi-final stage of this competition.
\nRainey Endowed School played Coleraine Grammar School and it was the Coleraine Grammar School team that emerged as 33-10 winners at the end of the game.
\nSullivan Upper School played Royal School, Armagh and, following a very closely contested game, it was the Royal School, Armagh team that emerged as 17-16 winners.
\nIn the two remaining Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Trophy 1\/4 Final games Lurgan College played Bangor Grammar School and it was the Bangor Grammar School team that came away with a 41-0 victory.
\nFoyle and Londonderry College played Portadown College and recorded a comfortable 22-0 win.
\nWhen the results of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup, Bowl and Trophy Quarter-Final games were known the draws for the 1\/2 Finals of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup, Plate and Trophy competitions took place.

\nBallymena Academy played Sullivan Upper School and won the exciting end to end game by 25-18.
\nCampbell College, Belfast played Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn and the Campbell College team comfortably won the game by 40-0.
\nDalriada School played Wallace High School and the Wallace High School team came away with a 37-0 victory.
\nDown High School played Methodist College, Belfast and the Methodist College team was made to work hard for their 34-10 win.
\nLarne Grammar School hosted Royal Belfast Academical Institution in a game the Royal Belfast Academical Institution team won by 47-8.
\nRainey Endowed School played Belfast Royal Academy and, following a closely contested game, it was the Belfast Royal Academy team that emerged as 18-10 winners.
\nRegent House School played Enniskillen Royal Grammar School and recorded a well-deserved 24-3 victory.
\nRoyal School, Armagh played Ballyclare High School and recorded a comprehensive 52-12 win.
\nIn the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Bowl 1\/4 Finals Antrim Grammar School played Banbridge Academy and it was the Banbridge Academy team that won the game by 22-14.
\nColeraine Grammar School played Cambridge House Grammar School and had to work hard for their 20-12 victory.
\nCraigavon Senior High School played their near neighbours from Portadown College and it was the Portadown College team that won the game, in a comprehensive manner, by 52-0.
\nGrosvenor Grammar School played Limavady Grammar School and it was the Limavady Grammar School team that convincingly won the game by 38-0.
\nIn the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Trophy, the two remaining 1\/4 Final games were played.
\nFoyle and Londonderry College played Bangor Grammar School and won the game by 27-10.
\nRoyal School, Dungannon played Dromore High School and, following a closely contested game, it was the Dromore High School team that emerged as 14-12 winners.
\nWhen the results of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield, Bowl and Trophy games were known the draws for the 1\/4 Final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield and Plate games, as well as the draws for the 1\/2 Finals of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Bowl and Trophy competitions, were made.
