{"id":662172,"date":"2021-12-07T09:07:00","date_gmt":"2021-12-07T09:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/?p=662172"},"modified":"2021-12-07T15:32:42","modified_gmt":"2021-12-07T15:32:42","slug":"yuyu-bottle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/yuyu-bottle\/","title":{"rendered":"YUYU BOTTLE FORMS A NEW UNION WITH ENGLAND RUGBY\u2026 (yuyubottle.com)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>YUYU BOTTLE FORMS A NEW UNION WITH ENGLAND RUGBY\u2026<\/h3>\n<p>AN innovative product which has revolutionised the simple hot water bottle has consolidated its position as a \u2018must have\u2019 for the sporting elite, after becoming an official licensed product for England Rugby.<\/p>\n<p>And the collaboration with the Red Roses, England\u2019s women\u2019s senior rugby union team, couldn\u2019t have happened at a better time, with the side already making it into the record books, following their crushing defeat of the USA team on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/263430265_2450809395049140_7175531977952680805_n.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The YuYu Bottle, first broke into the international sporting arena after being used by Team GB athletes to stay cool at this year\u2019s Tokyo summer Olympic Games.<\/p>\n<p>And the bottles have now been adopted by the rugby players as an easy-to-use way of warming up muscles and cooling down aches, sprains and inflammation before, during and after their games.<\/p>\n<p>The bottles, complete with a bespoke England cover \u2013 which are 81cm long and come with an adjustable strap for easy wear \u2013 are proving invaluable to the women in helping the team in recovering between games.<\/p>\n<p>The deal was agreed at the beginning of the Red Roses\u2019 busy autumn schedule, with the women winning four out of four games and continuing their streak of being unbeaten in their last 18 games.<\/p>\n<p>Emily Ross, lead physiotherapist for the senior England\u2019s Women\u2019s rugby team, is delighted by what the bottles can offer.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/262700593_2450809388382474_3432799094109878150_n.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cElite sport is an ever-evolving landscape and even more so in this COVID-19 world,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe as support staff have been focused on sustainable-adaptable strategies to withstand any changes thrown at us in whatever continent we are training in.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYuYu Bottles allow a great adaptable recovery strategy for players, and especially for females athletes. The tie allows players to recover whilst on the move.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt also is a great option in limiting the potential performance deficits from menstrual symptoms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/263263864_2450809385049141_4991985474868162046_n.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Her words are echoed by Saracens and Red Roses flanker, Marlie Packer, who believes the bottles have become something of a secret weapon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI absolutely love the YuYu Bottle,\u201d said Marlie.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt works for me in multiple ways.
