The draw for the 2nd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Cup took place on Saturday 27th November.

\nThese games are scheduled to be played on\/before Saturday 11th December 2021<\/p>\n
On Monday 29th November Dromore High School hosted Royal Belfast Academical Institution under the floodlights at the Barban Hill venue.
\nThe Royal Belfast Academical Institution team won the game by 29-13 with the Dromore High School team giving a good account of themselves against their more experienced opposition.
\nThe Dromore High School points came through tries from Reuben Copes and Max Brush with Nathan Hook adding one penalty goal.
\nThe Royal Belfast Academical Institution team scored five tries through James Hilman, who touched down twice, Myles Lowe, Jamie Beattie and Josh Eagleson. Josh was also successful with two of his conversion kicks.
\nBoth teams, and their coaches, would like to thank Dromore Rugby Football Club for the use of facilities and hosting the game on an excellent floodlit pitch.
\nThere were eight Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield Round 2 games scheduled to take place on\/before Saturday 4th December.
\nThree of these games took place on Tuesday 30th November.
\nAntrim Grammar School hosted Foyle and Londonderry College and won a very closely contested game by 14-10.
\nThe Antrim Grammar School team, for whom players such as Jack McNeilly, Shine Phillip, Caleb Whiteway, Alexander Lynn and Adomas Blazauskas played well in the back division, were delighted to celebrate their win at the final whistle. Up front, Aaran Kane, Caleb McClean and Eoin Byrne impressed with their performances.
\nCaleb and Eoin scored the Antrim Grammar School tries with No 10, Alexander Lynn, converting both tries.
\nBangor Academy played Craigavon Senior High School and, at the end of a high scoring encounter, it was the Craigavon High School that emerged as 33-23 winners.
\nThe Craigavon Senior High School points came through two tries from James Beattie and a hattrick of tries from \u201cMan of the Match\u201d, Armandas Maslobojev. Tylor Love was successful with four of his conversion kicks.
\nDromore High School played Banbridge Academy in a game the Banbridge Academy team won by 43-0.
\nOn Wednesday 1st December four Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup Round 2 games took place.
\nBelfast Royal Academy played Bangor Grammar School in a game the Belfast Royal Academy team won by 36-12.
\nDalriada School hosted Regent House School and won the closely contested game by 10-8.
\nDromore High School played Down High School in a high scoring, enthralling game, the Down High School team won by 36-33.
\nLimavady Grammar School hosted Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn in a game the Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn team won by 36-10.
\nIn the last of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Cup Round 1 games Royal Belfast Academical Institution 5thxv played Sullivan Upper School 3rdxv.
\nThe Sullivan Upper School 3rdxv won this game by 31-5 and will now travel to play Belfast Royal Academy 3rdxv in the 2nd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Cup. This game must be played on\/before Saturday 11th December.
\nAs well as hosting their Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup match against Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn, Limavady Grammar School played Foyle and Londonderry College in their previously postponed 1stxv friendly game.
\nThe Limavady Grammar School team recorded a comprehensive victory winning the game by 27-0.
\nOdhran Clenaghan, Fearghus Canning, Eunan McLaughlin and Robert McFarland each scored a try for the Limavady Grammar School team with Benjamin Howe adding two conversions as well as one penalty.
\nAs well as fielding a team for the game against Limavady Grammar School Foyle and Londonderry College sent a \u201cSenior Select\u201d squad to play against Strabane Academy. This game in Strabane proved to be a useful run out for both teams with the Foyle College squad returning home having recorded a hard earned 20-19 victory.
\nConor Barry, Dylan Hampton and Sam Patterson scored the Strabane Academy tries with Jamie Toland and Josh Toland each adding one successful conversion.
\nThe Foyle College squad scored two tries through Ben Houston and Adam Kane with Oisin Reynolds and Reece Gillen each adding one conversion as well as one penalty.
\nRoyal School, Dungannon played Banbridge Academy in a training game which provided both sets of coaches the opportunity to play members of their extended squads.
\nThe respective packs and back divisions worked against each other before each team enjoyed ten minutes of possession to test their decision-making skills as well as the opposition defence. The final fifteen minutes of the session were played in a full game scenario which proved to be a really good learning experience for both the players and the coaches.
\nOn the afternoon of Friday 3rd December Royal School, Dungannon hosted Omagh Academy in the 2nd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup.
\nAt the end of a high scoring game it was the Omagh Academy team that emerged as 31-23 winners.
\nLater that evening Bangor Grammar School played Dalriada School in the 2nd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield under the floodlights at Uprichard Park.
\nThe Dalriada School team dominated proceedings in this game which they won by 34-3.
\nBoth teams, and their coaches, would like to thank Bangor Rugby Football Club for the use of facilities and hosting the game on the excellent floodlit pitch at Uprichard Park.
\nOn Saturday 4th December Lurgan College played Banbridge Academy in the 1st Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Trophy competition.
\nThe Lurgan College team won this game by 13-0.
\nIn the 2nd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup competition Portadown College played Rainey Endowed School.
\nThe Rainey Endowed School team returned home having recorded a 40-7 victory.
\nTwo games took place in the 2nd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield competition on Saturday 4th December
\nRegent House School played Our Lady and St Patrick\u2019s College, Knock and won the game by 41-0.
\nOmagh Academy played Larne Grammar School and it was the Larne Grammar School team that won the game by 29-0.
\nThe last of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield Round 2 games, featuring Limavady Grammar School and Royal School, Dungannon, and Grosvenor Grammar School and Strabane Academy, which were recently postponed due to extenuating circumstances, will now take place on Tuesday 7th December.
\nA number of 1stxv friendly games took place on Saturday 4th December.
\nBallyclare High School played an extended squad against Lurgan College and won the game by 53-0.
\nAlex Darragh, Darragh Flynn, Peter Gillespie, Kyle Ferguson, Callum Cochrane and Owen Warren were among the Ballyclare High School try scorers with Callum adding quite a few conversions.
\nBallyclare High School played a \u201cSelect\u201d xv against Carrickfergus Grammar School and won the game by 9-5.
\nThe Ballyclare High School points came through three successful penalties from Max Scott while Logan Peters scored an unconverted try for the Carrickfergus Grammar School team.
\nThe Carrickfergus Grammar School coaching staff were delighted they were able to give 25 senior players pitch time in the course of this game.
\nBelfast Royal Academy played Coleraine Grammar School in a game the Coleraine Grammar School team won by 31-0.
\nThe Coleraine Grammar School team scored five tries through Benji Logan, who scored two, Nathan Ogborne, who scored two, and Thomas Frew. Rory Telfer was successful with three of his conversion kicks.
\nCampbell College, Belfast played Methodist College, Belfast in an exciting game which saw the Methodist College winning streak come to an end! At the final whistle it was the Campbell College team that celebrated a hard-earned 29-26 victory.
\nCampbell College scored their points through two tries from Zac Solomon and one try apiece from Reece Bell and Peter Caves. Jonny McCracken added three conversions as well as one penalty.
\nThe Methodist College team scored two penalty tries as well as tries from Jonny O\u2019Kane and Michael Crothers. Ben McFarlane added one conversion.
\nDromore High School travelled to Dublin to play Wesley College and put on a good performance despite losing the game by 26-12.
\nEthan Mount and Max Brush scored the Dromore High School tries with Nathan Hook adding one conversion.
\nDown High School played Bangor Grammar School and recorded an impressive 43-5 victory. Star of the Down High School show was Ethan Fitzsimmons, who touched down for a hattrick of tries. The other Down High School try scorers were Ross Graham, Fionn Carey, Rory Wilson and Ryan Connolly. Ross Graham was also successful with four conversions.
\nEnniskillen Royal Grammar School entertained Royal Belfast Academical Institution and it was the Royal Belfast Academical Institution team that won the game by 21-0.
\nThe Royal Belfast Academical Institution team scored three tries through Callum Simms, Jacob Edwards and Rory Stewart. Matthew Sweetlove was successful with all three of his conversion kicks.
\nFriends\u2019 School, Lisburn played Grosvenor Grammar School and managed to continue their recent run of good form with a 24-14 victory.
\nAlexander McKinley put in a \u201cMan of the Match\u201d performance with two tries for the Friends\u2019 School team while Angus Crawford and Tom Rowlatt McCormich each ran in for one try. Alex Topping was successful with two conversions.
\nGrosvenor Grammar School scored a penalty try as well as a try from Zelig Young which was converted by Ben Johnston.
\nRainey Endowed School played Royal School, Armagh and it was the RS Armagh team that won the game by 35-0.
\nDespite losing the game the Rainey Endowed School team made the RS Armagh team work hard for their win. The were denied tries on a number of occasions by excellent Royal School, Armagh defence and marginal forward passes.
\nThe Royal School, Armagh team scored five tries through James Anderson, Sam Cunningham, who scored twice, James Campbell and Finn Fenhert. Matthew Monaghan was successful with all five of his conversion kicks.
\nRegent House School hosted Sullivan Upper School in a closely contested game the Sullivan Upper School team won by 10-7.
\nRyan Copeland scored the Regent House School try which was converted by Zac Campbell.
