Mute Snoring <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/mutesnoring.com\/\">mutesnoring.com<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/mm2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A study revealed 83 per cent of Brits either snore or live with someone who does, with men more likely to be to blame for the noise (52 per cent) than women (30 per cent).<br \/>\nMore than a quarter regularly face kicks under the covers from their partner in a bid to get them to stop snoring, while 13 per cent said it had led to rows with their other half.<br \/>\nBut one in 10 admitted it had had such an impact on their relationship that they have delayed moving in with someone or even been dumped as a result.<br \/>\nThe poll of 2,000 adults who snore also found 46 per cent feel \u2018embarrassed\u2019 by it, with more than one in 10 dreading spending a night with a new partner.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/mm1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Nearly a fifth (19 per cent) have avoided sharing a room with a friend on holiday and 12 per cent have dodged public transport in case they fall asleep and start snoring.<br \/>\nSteve Smith, spokesperson for nasal dilator Mute Snoring (www.mutesnoring.com), which commissioned the research said: &#8220;Thousands of us are very embarrassed by our snoring and will try anything to stop it.<br \/>\n\u201cWhilst it may be amusing to some, it can have a huge impact on your life \u2013 whether you are the snorer, or a person living with a snorer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRelationships can really struggle if one person \u2013 or even both \u2013 snore, as the results show.<br \/>\n\u201cYou may think of it as being something that only affects you and your partner, but for those who feel embarrassed, it also impacts their holiday choices and even whether they travel on public transport.\u201d<br \/>\nThe study also found that three quarters of snorers only discovered they had the issue after being told by another person &#8211; although 17 per cent realised when they woke themselves up.<br \/>\nNearly 30 per cent have had someone complain they could hear them through the walls, and an embarrassed 22 per cent have even had their snoring recorded by a friend or partner.<br \/>\nA fifth admitted their snoring affects their relationships while more than one in 10 said it impacts their confidence (14 per cent) and day-to-day lives (12 per cent).<\/p>\n<p>More than one in 20 (eight per cent) even went as far as to say it affects their mental health.<br \/>\nAs a result, more than half have tried different methods to try and stop snoring with lying on their side, raising the head with more pillows, and losing weight among the top ways.<br \/>\nNearly one in 10 of those polled via OnePoll have even spoken to a doctor or health professional.<br \/>\nSteve Smith added: \u201cAlthough there are many reasons why someone may snore, finding the right solution will often involve freeing up the airways.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReducing snoring ultimately improves sleep, which in turn improves overall wellbeing &#8211;
