It is often marketed as a smoking cessation aid or tobacco replacement.<\/em>\u00a0-Wikipedia<\/p>\n<div>\n<h4>How Does It Work?<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<p>E-cigarettes don\u2019t burn tobacco, instead they deliver nicotine via vapor form. As you \u2018smoke\u2019 on the e-cig, liquid nicotine is drawn into the atomizing chamber where it\u2019s heated and turned into a vapor. This vapor is then drawn into the mouthpiece, delivering the nicotine in the same way as a regular cigarette.<\/p>\n<p>The diagram above shows the main components of an e-cigarette. Every e-cigarette typically contains 3 parts:<br \/>\n[list_arrow_point]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The cartridge which holds the e-liquid solution with a hole for the user to inhale the vapour<\/li>\n<li>The atomizer which heats the e-liquid and turns it into vapour<\/li>\n<li>The power unit, consisting of the battery, an air flow activated switch and an LED indicator[\/list_arrow_point]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the disposable model all the parts are fully assembled and ready to dispose of when used. In the rechargeable models, the atomizer and cartridge are one unit, known as a cartomizer, paired with a rechargeable battery.
