{"id":63935,"date":"2014-02-19T15:26:12","date_gmt":"2014-02-19T15:26:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/?p=63935"},"modified":"2014-02-19T15:26:12","modified_gmt":"2014-02-19T15:26:12","slug":"two-changes-ireland-women-xv-play-england-twickenham-team-named","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/two-changes-ireland-women-xv-play-england-twickenham-team-named\/","title":{"rendered":"Two Changes to Ireland Women XV to play England at Twickenham TEAM NAMED HERE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ireland Women Head Coach Philip Doyle has made two changes to the side that earned a hard fought victory against Wales in Round 2 of the RBS Womens 6 Nations Championship.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ashleigh Baxter<\/strong> comes in on the wing for <strong>Hannah Casey<\/strong> and <strong>Gillian Bourke<\/strong> replaces <strong>Stacey-Lea Kennedy<\/strong> at hooker.\u00a0 Both Casey and Kennedy will start from the bench.\u00a0 The only other change to the match day 23 sees <strong>Laura Guest<\/strong> come into the replacements in place of <strong>Paula Fitzpatrick.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Niamh Briggs<\/strong> and <strong>Larissa Muldoon<\/strong> who came into the side after the opening round are retained at full-back and scrum-half respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Philip Doyle, Ireland Women&#8217;s Head Coach, commented, <em>&#8220;The team showed great character to secure the win against Wales but they are in for a huge test this weekend facing England at Twickenham.\u00a0 England will be smarting from last year&#8217;s defeat and are a quality side who have shown their power and skill already in this Championship.\u201d\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Ireland Women&#8217;s team will play their first ever fixture at the Aviva Stadium when they play Italy in Round 4 of the RBS 6 Nations Championships on March 8<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 This game will kick-off approximately 40minutes after Ireland&#8217;s RBS 6 Nations clash against the Azzuri has concluded.\u00a0 Tickets for the Women&#8217;s match are available through Ticketmaster.ie.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IRELAND WOMEN v England Women \u2013 RBS 6 Nations Championship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Player \/ Club \/ Province \/ Caps<\/em><\/p>\n<p>15.
