TIDY Northern Ireland this year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Be part of something BIG!<br \/>\nWhat do you think when you see litter and rubbish just dumped on the street, your local park or playground, or on the beach? Do you want to do something about it? Here at TIDY Northern Ireland we\u2019re working really hard to try to reduce the amount of litter that is dropped and we need your help!<br \/>\nIf you\u2019d like to do something positive next Spring to help improve your local environment and local community then why not get involved in the BIG Spring Clean 2014?<br \/>\nThe BIG Spring Clean is Northern Ireland\u2019s largest volunteering campaign aimed at cleaning up local areas and improving our environment.  This year over 50,000 people got involved and we\u2019re hoping to double that next year.<br \/>\nIt\u2019s easy to be part of the BIG Spring Clean by organising your own clean up event between February \u2013 April 2014. When you register we will send you a FREE Clean Up Kit and when you return to the website to tell us how you got on, you will be entered into a prize draw. It is Northern Ireland\u2019s fastest growing community clean-up volunteering campaign and is open to people and groups from all communities wishing to rid their streets of litter and discarded rubbish.<br \/>\nThe campaign is supported by all 26 Councils and the DOE.
