All are lactose-free, 100% plant-based, low in fat, sugar-free, rich in fibre and vitamins B2, B12 and D.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pancake Tuesday Recipes!<\/p>\n<p><strong>PANCAKES WITH CARAMELISED BANANA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/aa2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong>!<br \/>200g plain flour<br \/>1 tbsp baking powder<br \/>250ml Alpro Oat Unsweetened drink<br \/>2 tbsp agave nectar<br \/>2 tbsp vegetable oil<br \/>4 bananas, sliced diagonally<br \/>2-3 tbsp Alpro Plain No Sugars alternative to yogurt<\/p>\n<p><strong>PREPARATION<\/strong>!<br \/>1<br \/>Mix the plain flour and baking powder in a bowl then whisk in Alpro Oat Unsweetened drink and add agave nectar to make a batter.<\/p>\n<p>2<br \/>Add a very small amount of vegetable oil to a non-stick frying pan and dollop in spoonfuls of the batter to make small pancakes.<\/p>\n<p>3<br \/>Cook for a couple of minutes over a low-medium heat and when bubble appear flip over and cook for a minute or two until golden and cooked through. Repeat with the remaining batter, you should have around 12 pancakes. Set the pancakes aside on a warm plate while you prepare the bananas.<\/p>\n<p>4<br \/>Wipe out the frying pan and add the remaining vegetable oil. Cook the bananas over a fairly high heat for a minute or two on each side until golden.<\/p>\n<p>5<br \/>To serve, stack the pancakes with the bananas and drizzle with the yogurt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>AMERICAN STYLE PANCAKES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/aa1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong>!<br \/>200g plain flour<br \/>1 tbsp baking powder<br \/>Pinch salt<br \/>180ml Alpro Oat Unsweetened drink<br \/>2 medium free-range eggs, beaten<br \/>Vegetable oil, for frying<br \/>Alpro Plain No Sugars Big Pot to serve<br \/>2 ripe avocado, 1cm dice<br \/>100g cherry tomatoes, quartered<br \/>1\/2 x 300g tin sweetcorn, drained<br \/>30g bunch coriander, roughly chopped<br \/>1 red onion, finely chopped<br \/>2 limes, juiced, plus extra wedges to serve<br \/>1 red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped<br \/>Salt &amp; pepper<\/p>\n<p><strong>PREPARATION<\/strong>!<br \/>1<br \/>To make American-style pancakes put the flour and baking powder in a large bowl with a pinch of salt. In a jug, whisk the Alpro Oat Unsweetened drink with eggs.<\/p>\n<p>2<br \/>Mix all the salsa ingredients together and set aside.<\/p>\n<p>3<br \/>Use a balloon whisk to gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry to make a pancake batter. Brush a non-stick frying pan with more vegetable oil then pour in batter to make small 10cm pancakes, about 2-3 tbsp of batter. Cook until bubbles form on the surface then flip and cook until other side is golden. This will be about 2-3 minutes on each side.<\/p>\n<p>4<br \/>Serve 2-3 pancakes a person with a spoonful of Alpro Plain No Sugars Big Pot and the salsa and extra lime wedges<\/p>\n<p><strong>RECIPE TIPS<\/strong><br \/>Flours vary, so you may need to add a little more Alpro Oat Unsweetened drink to reach a pourable pancake consistency.
