31% of dog owners admit they would rather spend Valentine\u2019s Day with their beloved pooch than their significant other<\/p>\n

New research shows that just under half (44%) surveyed, revealed their top dinner date for Valentine\u2019s evening was their dog!
\nAs more than a quarter (27%) said their expectations of Valentine\u2019s Day are never met.

\nWith the most romantic day of the year fast approaching, award-winning pet food brand, Natural Instinct, is launching special edition recipes of Valentine\u2019s Dinners for dogs and cats, as it\u2019s revealed that it\u2019s not just humans who feel the love on Valentine\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n

New research, completed by over 2,000 dog owners, has revealed almost half (44%) would choose to have dinner with their dog over family and friends this Valentine\u2019s Day, while 43% admitted to buying gifts for their beloved pooch.<\/p>\n

However, it is not just the annual romantic celebration of Valentine\u2019s Day that demonstrates the close bond between dogs and their owners. A third of dog owners feel more loved by their dog than their partner on a daily basis, when it comes to enjoying their spare time and more than half (57%) would choose to spend this with their dog above and beyond anybody else.<\/p>\n
