Both schools are awaiting their stage to enter the schools cup and both had open days on saturday so under lights on friday evening gave them a chance of a game. RBAI were convincing winners 50-0 although BRA stuck to their task and came more into it in the second half.

We wish both sides luck when they enter the schools cup.

Later at 6.30 RBAI Medallion played Presentaion Brothers College (cork) in a much closer contest. RBAI eventually won 20-0 but had to work hard to break down a stubborn PBC defence.

We wish RBAI Medallion luck when they enter later the medallion shield.

Now to the saturday fuxtures.

The U17s lost their league play off match 5-22 at home to Dromore. It was a very enetertaining game and the difference in the sides was some missed tackles on the Instonians side.

The 1st XV lost their All Ireland league match at home to Armagh 10-31. Overall it was a dissappointing performance and in the end it was Armagh pushing for a bonus point try that kept the match alive. 7 games left and Instonians now to play most of their relegation rivals in what is going to be a nial bitting end to the season.

The U19s had a great win 36-0 at home to Randalstown in the league playoffs. Their best performance in recent months.
