The Methodist College squad had to relocate to Lisbon for the game which they won by 43-10.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Portugal U19 team took a 5-0 lead when Luis Lopez touched down for an unconverted try ten minutes into the game. Two tries from Harry McCartney, and one from Andrew McMurray, alongside two Callum Davidson conversions, then saw the Methodist College team take a 19-5 lead into the break.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An unconverted try from Pedro Ribiero, five minutes after the restart, reduced the Portugal U19 team deficit to 19-10. However, after this the game was dominated by the Methodist College team. Harry McCartney completed his hat trick of tries with Callum Doherty, Lorcan Hanratty and Callum Davidson each touching down for one try. Callum Davidson and Andrew Murray were successful with one conversion each to secure the 43-10 victory for the Methodist College, Belfast team.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Tuesday 17<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> December Ballyclare Secondary School played Carrickfergus Grammar School in their postponed Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield Round 2 game. The Carrickfergus Grammar School team impressed with their 46-0 winning performance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the same afternoon Coleraine Grammar School 2ndxv and Regent House School 2ndxv played the replay of their drawn Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup Round 2 game. The Coleraine Grammar School team won the game by 22-10<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Wednesday 18<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Sullivan Upper School played Dalriada School in their postponed Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup game. The Sullivan Upper School 2ndxv team won the game by 38-0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Wednesday 18<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> December games involving Omagh Academy and Enniskillen Royal Grammar School and Down High School and Belfast Royal Academy were cancelled due to flooded pitches.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Thursday 19<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> December Enniskillen Royal Grammar School 3rdxv played Ballymena Academy 3rdxv in the 2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nd<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Cup. The Ballymena Academy 3rdxv won the game by 31-10 and now progress to the 3<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rd<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 3rdxv Cup. The Enniskillen Royal Grammar School team scored two unconverted tries in the course of the game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ballymena Academy team scored tries through David Henry, Callum McNeill, Michael Wilson and Lewis Wharry. A penalty try, as well as two conversions from Ben Laverty, secured the 31-10 win for the Ballymena Academy 3rdxv.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Saturday 21<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">st<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> December quite a number of scheduled games were cancelled but two did go ahead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lurgan College played Regent House School in a game the Lurgan College team won by 38-7. The Lurgan College team took an early 5-0 lead when Harry Bird touched down for an unconverted try two minutes into the game. A few minutes later Ryan Allen and Luke Forsythe combined to send Simon Cartwright in for an unconverted try which increased the Lurgan College lead to 10-0. Just before the break Ryan Allen then touched down for a try, which was converted by Harry Bird, to send the Lurgan College team into halftime with a 17-0 lead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Regent House team did eventually get some reward for their efforts when they turned a Lurgan College lineout over and, following a series of plays, Callum Dawson touched down for a try. Mattie Gibson added the extras to see the score reading Lurgan College 17- Regent House School 7 early in the second half. However, the Lurgan College team now started to control both territory and possession. Ryan Allen completed his hat trick of tries and Harry Bird scored his second try of the game which, along with three successful Harry Bird conversions, ensured the final score read Lurgan College 38 Regent House School 7.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Royal Belfast Academical Institution got back into action when they hosted the Wallace High School team that has hit really good form in recent weeks. The Wallace High School team continued this good form and won the game by 15-0. Cameron Doak and Ben Carson scored the Wallace High School tries to which Nathan Doak added one conversion as well as one penalty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The draws for the 3rd Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup and the 1st Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Trophy competitions took place on Monday 16th style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Bowl competition will be made on the afternoon of Saturday 11th January following the completion of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Bowl League play-off games.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The draws for the Danske Bank Ulster Schools&#8217; Cup, Danske Bank Ulster Schools&#8217; Bowl and Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Trophy competitions will then be conducted at a media event at Kingspan Stadium on Monday 27th January.
