The Carndonagh Community College team returned to Donegal having recorded a 34-7 victory.<br \/>\nOn Tuesday 19th November Larne Grammar School hosted Antrim Grammar School in the 1st Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 Medallion Shield competition. The Larne Grammar School team won this game by 39-0.<br \/>\nOn the afternoon of Wednesday 20th November Sullivan Upper travelled to play Methodist College, Belfast at Pirrie Park. Following a closely contested game, in which the Methodist College team dominated the first half with the Sullivan Upper School team dominating the second half, it took a Zac Moraghan penalty, five minutes from time, to secure the 3-0 victory for the Sullivan Upper School team.<br \/>\nMeanwhile the Strabane Academy team travelled to play their near neighbours from Omagh Academy at the Campsie Playing Fields. Both teams used extended squads in the course of the game from which the Omagh Academy team emerged as 53-0 winners.<br \/>\nMatthew Keys, with two, Alex Clements, Sam McLaren, Carl Logan, Jamie Wood, Harry Matthews, Alex Colhoun and Jamie Reid all scored tries for the Omagh Academy team. Jamie Reid was also successful with four of his conversion kicks.<br \/>\nThe Rainey Endowed School xv, minus a number of regular starters, hosted the Ballymena Academy team 2nd xv in a game the Ballymena Academy team won by 7-5. Matthew Walshe scored an unconverted try for the Rainey Endowed School team with Joshua Cooper touching down for the Ballymena Academy try which was converted by Alexander Diver.<br \/>\nIn the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup Banbridge Academy played Larne Grammar School in the 1st Round of the competition. The Larne Grammar School team won the game by 15-0.<br \/>\nOn the same afternoon Limavady Grammar School 2ndxv hosted Lurgan College 2ndxv in another game in the 1st Round of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup competition. The Limavady Grammar School team won this game by 27-7.<br \/>\nIn the two remaining Danske Bank Ulster Schools\u2019 2ndxv Cup 1st Round games Foyle and Londonderry College went through against Strabane Academy and Dromore High School went through against Belfast High School.<br \/>\nOn Saturday 23rd November a good list of 1stxv friendly fixtures was played.<br \/>\nBallyclare High School hosted Bangor Grammar School in an exciting game the Bangor Grammar School team won by 14-8. Following a scoreless first half the Bangor Grammar School team took a 7-0 lead when, early in the second half, Angus Christie crossed the whitewash for a try to which he added the conversion. The Ballyclare High School team responded with an unconverted try from Scott Wilson, and a penalty from Mark Jackson, to take an 8-7 lead going into the final quarter of the game. However, with seven minutes to go, a Conor Lusty try, converted by Angus Christie, secured the 14-8 victory for the Bangor Grammar School team.<br \/>\nBallymena Academy travelled to Clane in Co Kildare where they played against the formidable Clongowes Wood College team. Despite having a number of senior players unavailable for selection the Ballymena Academy team put in a good performance despite losing the game by 24-12.<br \/>\nThe Clongowes Wood College team controlled the game for long periods of play in the first. As a result they were able to run in three converted tries to take a 21-0 lead into the break.<br \/>\nRoss McKay reduced the Ballymena Academy deficit to 21-5 in the early stages of the second half when he ran in for an unconverted try. A Clongowes penalty then increased their lead to 24-5. Andrew Donald then scored a try for the Ballymena Academy team, which was converted by Ross McKay, to take the score to 24-12 in favour of the home team. The Ballymena Academy team might have put more points on the board but they did manage to mess up a couple of try scoring opportunities. However, despite the Clongowes Wood College team winning the game by 24-12, the Ballymena Academy players and staff will have taken plenty of positives from their performances against the Clongowes team.<br \/>\nBelfast Royal Academy played Dalriada School in a game the Belfast Royal Academy team won by 46-12. The Belfast Royal Academy team scored with tries with Zach Burton touching down for two, and Andrew Greer, Elliott Donaldson, Jack McKee, Reuben McCrea, Cameron Dougan and Lewis West each scoring one try. Ollie Parkes was successful with three of his conversion kicks.<br \/>\nThe Dalriada School team scored two tries through Adam Cuthbert and James McCormack to which Aaron Gervais added one conversion.<br \/>\nDromore High School played the Royal School, Dungannon team at Barban Hill in a game the Royal School, Dungannon team won by 24-5.<br \/>\nRyan Rodgers ran in for an unconverted try for the Dromore High School team with the Royal School, Dungannon points coming through tries from Charlie Conroy, Jacob Clarke, Thomas Burns and Jack Girvan. Jack was also successful with two of his conversion kicks.<br \/>\nEnniskillen Royal Grammar School hosted the Sullivan Upper School team that had defeated the Methodist College, Belfast in their midweek fixture. The Sullivan Upper School team put in an impressive performance against the Enniskillen Royal Grammar School team and came away with a well-deserved 31-0 victory. They scored five tries through George Robb, Peter Camlin, Luke McCabe, Harry Baird and George Saunderson to which Zac Moraghan added three conversions.<br \/>\nThe Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn team continued with their winning ways when they played Banbridge Academy in a game they won by 61-5. The Friends\u2019 School, Lisburn team scored nine tries in the course of the game. Man of the Match, Fergus McEwen, ran in for five with Ethan Terris, Paddy McElhinney, Michael Glass and Reece Malone each scoring one try. Reece was also successful with eight of his conversion kicks.<br \/>\nThe Banbridge Academy team, for whom Adam Hanna and Louis O\u2019Neill impressed with their performances, scored an unconverted try through Jake Houston.<br \/>\nLarne Grammar School played Grosvenor Grammar School in a game that saw the Grosvenor Grammar School team emerge as 24-10 winners. Adam Moore, Ben Johnston, Alistair Norton and Izzie Young scored the Grosvenor Grammar School tries to which Adam Moore added two conversions.<br \/>\nThe Larne Grammar School captain and No 8, Stephen Dickey, and centre, the hard running Jack Withers, each scored an unconverted try for the Larne Grammar School team. Two Larne Grammar School players, Scott Alexander and Josh Walker, impressed with their performances in the course of what was their debut game at 1stxv level.<br \/>\nLurgan College hosted Foyle and Londonderry College team in a game the Lurgan College team won by 43-14. Ewan Mulligan, with two, Ryan Holmes, the impressive Ben Marsden and Luke Harrison scored the tries for the Lurgan College team in the first half, to which Harry Bird added three conversions.<br \/>\nTwo Foyle College tries from Eddie Campbell and Callum Gillen, both of which Callum converted, saw the scoreboard reading Lurgan College 31 Foyle and Londonderry College 14 at the interval.<br \/>\nIn the second half a second Ben Marsden try and one from Angus Cunningham, accompanied by a Harry Bird conversion, secured the 43-14 victory for the Lurgan College team.<br \/>\nOmagh Academy welcomed Wallace High School to the recently refurbished Campsie Playing Fields to play a game from which the Wallace High School team emerged as 50-12 winners.<br \/>\nAll the Omagh Academy points came from the trusty boot of Jake Reid who was successful with four penalty kicks.<br \/>\nThe Wallace High School points came through two tries from Ben Carson; two tries from Nathan Doak and one try each from Reuben Crothers, Joel Dundas, Philip Dillon and John Wilson. Nathan Doak completed a \u201cMan of the Match\u201d performance with five successful conversion kicks.<br \/>\nPortadown College played Down High School in a game the Down High School team won by 15-7. The Down High School points came through tries from Jonathan Graham and Jack Martin with one conversion and one penalty from Luka Walsh.<br \/>\nMarshall Clint scored the Portadown College try which was converted by Adam Speers.<br \/>\nRoyal Belfast Academical Institution played Campbell College, Belfast in a game that finished with the Belfast Inst team recording a morale boosting 18-10 victory.
