Not a bad position to be in as we go into the break for the Autumn Internationals. For the second week in succession the elements played a major role in events on the field, with most of the game played in torrential rain. Ballymena scored two tries in the first half through Entwhistle and O’Hara, both converted by Small, and turned round at the break 14-6 ahead. All the team’s defensive qualties were needed for a good part of the second half, which remained scoreless until five minutes from the end, when Connor Smyth scored a try from close range, again converted by Small. The heady days of running with the ball in the sunshine seem but a distant memory.

follow ythis link for Ballymena Times story http://www.ballymenatimes.com/sport/local-sport/braidmen-notch-fourth-successive-league-win-1-5645606

Some of the players are also supporting the Movember initiative whereby men grow mustaches to support various mens health charities, Roo MCcudden is pictured below

Please give generously to this worthy cause, no doubt more mustache development pictures to follow

Armagh 13 Ballymena 31 The game against Armagh, which could not be played when the Ulster Branch failed to provide a referee, was played at the Palace Grounds on Saturday.
