Newforge Taggers Director of Rugby Sam McBurney led a well run and fun session ably assisted by the Taggers and the Sharks coaches. The players were also treated to a visit by Ulster Rugby Mascot &#8216;Sparky&#8217;who was a real hit with player, coaches and parents.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Taggers-at-Stevenson-Sharks-03-10-2010-i.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Taggers-at-Stevenson-Sharks-03-10-2010-i-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Taggers at Stevenson Sharks 03-10-2010 i\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5188\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nSupport for this venture could not have been achieved without the Newforge Taggers, Mencap and Ulster\u00a0 Rugby aligning to the vision of The Stevenson Sharks fielding at least two teams by next season..\u00a0 The invitation to play Special Needs Tag Rugby for the next three Sundays in October \u00a0now has to filter quickly throughout Mid Ulster that all are welcome.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Taggers-at-Stevenson-Sharks-03-10-2010-p-cropped.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Taggers-at-Stevenson-Sharks-03-10-2010-p-cropped-300x231.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Taggers at Stevenson Sharks 03-10-2010 p cropped\" width=\"300\" height=\"231\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5189\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIt was very rewarding to see everyone walk away with smiles on their faces and with new and renewed appetite for rugby.<br \/>\nThe Stevenson Sharks along with their Newforge Taggers counterparts were especially pleased when &#8216;Sparky&#8217; the Ulster Rugby Mascot arrived down to support the event and mingle with the players.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Taggers-at-Stevenson-Sharks-03-10-2010-u-cropped.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Taggers-at-Stevenson-Sharks-03-10-2010-u-cropped-300x223.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Taggers at Stevenson Sharks 03-10-2010 u cropped\" width=\"300\" height=\"223\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5190\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAfter the session the players, coaches and parents relaxed and with refreshments on hand as Stevenson Sharks Patron Lord Maginnis of Drumglass was on hand to present Tim Craig and Sam McBurney of the Newforge Taggers The &#8216;Maginnis Cup&#8217; to cement the sound friendship between the Taggers and the Sharks.
