Pre-season training is underway for all teams – get involved!<\/p>\n
The kit has been pulled out of the bag from the end of last year, boots have been wiped off, and gum shields inspected vaguely – that’s right, training is back!<\/p>\n
All sides are up and running, with the 1s and 2s working hard on Tuesday and Thursday, the 3s-5s on Wednesday, Youth on Tuesday and Thursday, and Ladies on Thursday as well. <\/p>\n
Tonight’s senior squad saw a good sprint session followed by the first contact of the season. Last season’s U-19 squad are training hard with the 1s and 2s, and many will be pushing hard for places come the start of the league season.<\/p>\n
Here you can see a few of the highlights: James Cleland sporting a nice little bump (is he part Klingon?) – and Pete Shields clearly loving life at the end of the line!

Warm-up games are fast approaching – 1s and 2s will have a run in Limavady next Thursday, the 8th, and from the 40 or so players each night, a large squad will be taken. Then on the 17th there are two games at home to Ballyclare.
