The Ireland team to play USA on Saturday June 8thin BBVA Compass Stadium (kick off 19:45p.m.\/01:45 a.m.) has been named.<\/p>\n
There are two new caps, both of whom were Ireland U-20 this season. Connacht\u2019s Robbie Henshaw starts at fullback and Ulster\u2019s Stuart Olding is included in the starting XV at centre.<\/p>\n
Three other players – Ian Madigan, David Kilcoyne and Iain Henderson – will start for Ireland for the first time having previously been capped off the bench.<\/p>\n
There are a further three uncapped players in the replacements with Mike Sherry, Jamie Hagan and Tommy O\u2019Donnell all included.<\/p>\n
Mike Ross is the most capped player in the starting XV and he packs down with Richardt Strauss and Kilcoyne.<\/p>\n
Mike McCarthy and Devin Toner form the second row pairing with Henderson and Chris Henry on either side of new Ireland captain Peter O\u2019Mahony in the back row.<\/p>\n
Speaking ahead of the game Ireland Coach Les Kiss said \u201cWe\u2019ve had a good week of preparation and the players have settled well in Houston.<\/p>\n
This is a young team with five players starting for the first time and we are under no illusions as to the challenge posed by an experienced and improving USA Eagles team\u201d.<\/p>\n
