Report + 600+ ACTION SHOTTSS LIVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Super day at Hamilton Park!<br \/>\nArds 1st XV 17 &#8211; Sunday&#8217;s Well 14<br \/>\nArds 3rd XV 20 &#8211; Randalstown 15<\/p>\n<p>What a day at Hamilton Park on Saturday&#8230;&#8230;.the pre match lunch was full to capacity with club sponsors, The Stove Yard, CITRIX Bytemobile, PRG Recovery and Romas all taking tables.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the sponsors, incoming club coach Gerry Flynn had a contingent from the Ards Peninsula, Neil Workman had a dirty dozen with him, Stewart Stevendson and Paul Thompson had a moteley crew of mates and Ards alicadooos were in abundance.<br \/>\nClick <a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/gallery\/\">HERE<\/a> for 600+ Action Shottss from professional digital p[hotographer Rab Irwin<br \/>\nArds 3rds got the day off to a great start defeating Randalstown in an early kick off and securing promotion from Junior 5. Ian Presho has lead his magnificently all season and now have their Tour to Scotland to look forward to at the end of th month.<\/p>\n<p>Ards 1sts knew their destiny was in their own hands and rather than rely on what happened at the Rainey V Clonakilty match they wanted to beat Sunday&#8217;s Well; Ards defeated Sunday&#8217;s Well and in doing so retained their All Ireland League and Senior status. <\/p>\n<p>Players, managers, coaches, supporters and alicadoos celebrated these wins in style in the clubhouse afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>It was the final game in charge for the management team of Mervyn Tweed, Alan Benson and Robin Johnston who had previously indicated their intention to step down at the end of the season; all three are Ards men and have did a great job over the years at the club. <\/p>\n<p>For a day like Saturday to run smoothly and be a success alot of hard work was put in during the week and on the day and credit has to go to:<br \/>\nTerry and the bar staff<br \/>\nMark and his staff for the catering<br \/>\nBob and his helpers at the gate<br \/>\nBilly Dickson and Tom McCullough for the grounds<br \/>\nthe players, the coaches and the managers<br \/>\nFerige for the video<br \/>\nKate for her hard work keeping the players fit<br \/>\nGareth Paden for being the spy at Rainey and keeping Robin informed of developments there<\/p>\n<p>these are just some of the people that make our club work&#8230;..if you want, you to can BE PART IF IT!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Super day at Hamilton Park!
