The never-seen-before footage features the players\u2019 perspectives that fans rarely have the chance to see when watching from the stands including the extreme pressures placed upon the scrummagers\u2019 upper bodies and even their faces. <\/p>\n<p>[youtube 3RpZ7ve2nsQ]<\/p>\n<p>The film highlights the build up to a match from locker room to pitch, with a focus on the physical intensity and brutality players endure within a scrum.  After the ferocious interlocking commences, players\u2019 faces are shown experiencing the strain, pressure, stress, sweat and mud all contributing to what has been labeled, Face Torture \u2013 the damage that men\u2019s faces are dealing with in their everyday lives, but don\u2019t know about.<\/p>\n<p>The film concludes by highlighting the secret to the rugby stars\u2019 post-match cool down \u2013 face care \u2013 with players shown using a selection or products including face wash and moisturiser. <\/p>\n<p>Adam Jones, prop of the Welsh rugby team said: \u201cPeople rarely get to see what happens at scrum time and this film gives supporters a small insight into the battle we go through.  As well as a tough match taking its toll on your body, it surprisingly affects your face, too. As professional rugby players you have to keep your body in shape and look after it, and there\u2019s no harm in doing the same for your face.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The video was created to help encourage men to take better care of their faces and help overcome taboos about \u2018real men\u2019 looking after themselves, as part of a promotional campaign with Dove Men+Care \u2013 the official partner to the Welsh Rugby Union.<\/p>\n<p>Lauren Brooking, Brand Manager, Dove Men+Care said: \u201cMen have endured this \u2018face torture\u2019 for years, without realising why or whether they can do anything about it \u2013 and these players from the Welsh team really do get the brunt of it.
