Derry\/Londonderry has been awarded UK City of Culture 2013 which is a fantastic opportunity for the city and its people to showcase their culture, history and architecture to the world.<\/p>\n
To support the award City of Derry rugby club are again running their Golden Oldies Tournament in 2013 and aim to emulate the successes of their 125th Anniverasary Tournament in 2006.<\/p>\n
The tournament will coincide with the May Bank holiday weekend and the City of Derry jazz festival, which is one of the iconic jazz festivals in Ireland. The club is inviting teams from America, Germany, England, Ireland and Scotland.<\/strong><\/p>\n The tournament will be run over the weekend of Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May 2013 with a gala prize giving function on the Sunday night.
