Preparations for the new season are nearly complete with some league games taking place this Saturday and most teams beginning their campaigns next week.<\/p>\n

This weekend sees the Harlequin Womens 7’s, Randalstown Tournament & George Tees Cup at city Of Derry.<\/p>\n

However, an interesting encounter on Wednesday 24th August took place at The Cloughan in Clare country between Ballyclare 1’s and Bangor 1’s.

Four 20 minute sessions saw a strong Ballyclare side emerge the clear victors by 30 points.<\/p>\n

The visitors scored early in the first five minutes after Clare conceded 3 penalties and Bangor sailed through the middle to register and convert a try.
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Ballyclare responded with a consistent and sustained series of attacks leading to a number of awesome back line tries and a number of well worked forwards tries.<\/p>\n
