size-thumbnail wp-image-3959\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIreland had trained at the same venue earlier in the morning in<br \/>\ntorrential rain, and despite 2.5 hours of abuse the pitch was in<br \/>\nperfect nick for the first kick-off at 1.30pm.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/yorkshire5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/yorkshire5-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"yorkshire5\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-3962\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Schools team are a useful outfit with a number of players starting<br \/>\nthe second season at the top flight of schools rugby in the province.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/yorksihre4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/yorksihre4-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"yorksihre4\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-3961\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Ulster v Yorkshire game started brightly with Ulster scoring twice early on from quick ball set up from the pack.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/yorkshire1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/yorkshire1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"yorkshire1\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-3958\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p> A third from winger Glenn Baillie was  impressive as the young Ulsterman managed to evade three attempts to  tackle him before he made the corner. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/yorkshire31.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/yorkshire31-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"yorkshire3\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-3964\" \/><\/a> Yorkshire did manage to run in a  couple of tries in the second half, but in the end it was a solid performance from the Ulster boys.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The second game Ulster v Lancashire was a bit one sided.<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/lancashire5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/lancashire5-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"lancashire5\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-3957\" \/><\/a> Lancashire were an experienced quality side with some strong runners in their backline who loved  nothing more than to counter-attack at every opportunity.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/lancashire3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/lancashire3-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"lancashire3\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-3955\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately for Ulster they proved very successful and ran in a<br \/>\nnumber of scores. <a wp-image-3953\" \/><\/a>Despite shipping a heavy defeat the home side never<br \/>\ngave up and it was encouraging to see they keep trying right to the<br \/>\nthe final whistle.<\/p>\n<p><a
