Ballymena trailed 8-13 at half tiime , but a Scott Gibson try soon after the break levelled the scores Both teams then scored unconverted tries to leave the game locked at 18-18 with minutes to go. A late John Burns try brought the first AIL victory and great relief all round. Final score 23-18. Next AIL game is against Dungannon at Eaton Park on 5th January.
