Crabbie&#8217;s Steak Pie, recipe!<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-363390 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/cid_9D8240B3CFF941B69096FC75ECF550C2@Vostro230-300x242.png\" alt=\"winter\" width=\"300\" height=\"242\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/cid_9D8240B3CFF941B69096FC75ECF550C2@Vostro230-300x242.png 300w, https:\/\/www.intouchrugby.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/cid_9D8240B3CFF941B69096FC75ECF550C2@Vostro230.png 366w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Crabbie&#8217;s Steak Pie<br \/>\nIngredients<br \/>\n&#8211; 1.5kg of beef steak, diced into 2cm cubes<br \/>\n&#8211; 1tbs of vegetable oil<br \/>\n&#8211; 300 ml of Crabbie\u2019s Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer<br \/>\n&#8211; 2 garlic cloves<br \/>\n&#8211; 2 onions, chopped<br \/>\n&#8211; 300g of carrots<br \/>\n&#8211; 5 thyme sprigs<br \/>\n&#8211; 300 ml of veal stock<br \/>\n&#8211; 500g of shiitake mushrooms<br \/>\n&#8211; Pack of puff pastry<br \/>\n&#8211; Egg yolk<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Method<br \/>\n&#8211; Preheat oven to 190C \/ Gas mark 5<br \/>\n&#8211; In a large pan heat the vegetable oil over a high heat<br \/>\n&#8211; Cook the beef for about 20 minutes, until it has started to brown<br \/>\n&#8211; Add the vegetables, cook for another 10 minutes<br \/>\n&#8211; Add the stock and Crabbie\u2019s Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer<br \/>\n&#8211; Cook out until it is a thick sauce<br \/>\n&#8211; Place all of the meat and sauce into the bottom of a pie dish<br \/>\n&#8211; Roll out the puff pastry to fit the top of the pie dish<br \/>\n&#8211; Use the egg yolk to seal the side of the pastry around the pie<br \/>\n&#8211; Use a fork or scissors to pierce 2 holes in the top of the pie to let steam out during cooking<br \/>\n&#8211; Cook for 40 minutes, or until golden brown<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0Winter Warmer!
