<\/a>In 2008 Michael graduated as a Garden designer from SERC School of Horticulture, Newtownards, NI, and est\u2019d The Garden Design Shop (2008), an ethically independent Belfast based, garden & landscape design business. Michael has completed numerous designs both in the RoI & NI, & been invited recently to work on design briefs for both UK mainland & an international client.\n1987 Michael graduated as a Civil engineer & has worked initially as a site & measurement engineer, graduating to Site Agent, project managing many high profile & challenging UK heavy civil engineering projects valued \u00a30.25-\u00a34.5M, (1987-2000), & honed many skills including contract management, site organisation, manpower & plant management, difficult sites, solving contractual & build programme issues & was responsible for preparing & agreeing many site final build measurement accounts & preparing claims for agreement & arbitration.
\nEst\u2019d 1998, the Belfast based award winning building, light civil\u2019s & landscape company Design & Construct Partnership Ltd. Build achievements include Ulster Rugby\u2019s new Invalidity Stand at Ravenhill, bespoke houses, domestic extensions, garden rooms & many beautiful commercial & private family gardens. Since 2007, DCP have built five award winning show gardens.
\n Aug 2011 Michael submitted a large NI themed show garden design \u2018Titanic Dreams\u2019 for RHS Chelsea 2012 (\u00a3280k)
