Ahead of the Autumn Internationals starting this weekend, and with seven months to go until 2013 The British & Irish Lions Tour, HSBC Ambassador Gavin Hastings has picked his Lions starting XV.<\/p>\n
With the caveat that all his selections must have played international Rugby the former Scottish full-back, who played 61 times for Scotland and six times for The Lions, includes two Scotland Internationals in his selection and mixes experience with youth. Brian O\u2019Driscoll returns for a fourth Lions Tour and Danny Care is preferred by Hastings to the 2009 first choice scrum-half Mike Phillips. France-based Lee Byrne takes the full-back position and there is no place for Wales captain Sam Warburton in his starting XV.<\/p>\n
