Hinch Gain Vital Away Win Over Dublin Students: AAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chris Napier dived over to score the second Hinch try.<br \/>\nThis fixture in south Dublin was always expected to be a tough encounter; the students like Ballynahinch have had an unbeaten start to this season Ulster Bank League Campaign.<br \/>\nFrom the kick-off the Hinch kept the ball in hand taking play direct to the students especially through the midfield where James Thompson and Stuart Morrow caused a few problems in the early exchanges. Thompson almost scored after the first Hinch attack but as he headed for the line he was stopped by a great UCD cover tackle.<\/p>\n<p>Hinch opened the scoring in the 12th minute when UCD went over the top at a ruck giving Chris Quinn a penalty opportunity which he successfully converted taking the visitors 0-3 clear.<\/p>\n<p>UCD started to put the Hinch men under pressure for the next 10 minutes with the visitor\u2019s defence holding firm. Eventually the student won a penalty, which was quickly tapped giving winger Sam Colgan Murray the opportunity to cross for a try. The conversion by James Thornton was successful giving UCD a 7-3 lead.<br \/>\nHinch lost the services of James Thompson in the 28th minute who had to retire due to a thigh injury. Aaron Ferris replaced Thompson.<\/p>\n<p>In the 30th minute the Hinch dived in at a ruck just inside their own half and Thornton struck the penalty goal to make it 10-3.<\/p>\n<p>Two minutes later Chris Quinn created a wonderful individual try out of nothing and then converted to take the score to 10 points apiece.<\/p>\n<p>Just before halftime Paul Pritchard almost made it in for a second try but he was stopped by a last ditch ankle tap leaving the score tied 10-10 at the interval.<br \/>\n\tn the 47th minute Hinch centre Aaron Ferris made a great break and almost made the line&#8230;&#8230; for the full story CLICK HERE<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chris Napier dived over to score the second Hinch try.
