Service were 12 nil up at one<br \/>\nstage, but were unable to turn the screw and finish off their stubborn<br \/>\nopponents, but still dug in to come away with a 23 all draw which helped<br \/>\nkeep them joint top of the league table along with Ophir. This week they<br \/>\ntravel to Lurgan in the Gordon West Cup. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Civil Service 2nd XV 20 v 13 Ophir <\/strong><br \/>\nCLICK <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CivilServiceNIRFC?fref=ts\">HERE<\/a> for photographs<br \/>\nWith the 1st XV away, the 2nds hosted their own Ophir counterparts at<br \/>\nStormont. This was not as tight as the scoreline might suggest and with a<br \/>\nlittle bit more clinical finishing next time round, should show that the<br \/>\n2nds are also a team worthy of note. This weeks fixture is still to be<br \/>\nconfirmed. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Youth<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Youth section travelled to Larne to play Instonians and Larne in a Round<br \/>\nRobin exchange on Saturday and came away feeling rightly pleased with their<br \/>\ndays efforts. In the first game they defeated Instonians before going down<br \/>\nto a very abrasive Larne side in the second game at Glynn. This gave the<br \/>\nboys some valuable game time experience against well established opposition<br \/>\nand bodes well for the future. This week the Youth host Ophir. Players to<br \/>\nmeet at the Club at 10am for an 11am kick-off. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Training<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>To help keep this momentum going, it is vitally important that all players<br \/>\nfrom all sections attend training sessions on a regular basis. Please make<br \/>\nan effort to attend. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Website <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Club will soon be moving to a new website hosted by Pitchero. More<br \/>\ndetails will be released soon. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Recruitment<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Civil Service Rugby at Stormont is always on the lookout for new recruits at<br \/>\nall levels. Training for Seniors and Youth is on Mondays and Wednesdays from<br \/>\n6.30pm. Minis (boys and girls) is held on Saturdays from 10am.
